On arrival we were served very well by reception , got to the room which was a sea view suite again was great , I personally found the bed uncomfortable and unfortunately was covered with one blanket and a cover , on checking out we mentioned this to be informed they were changing to quilts but had not got to every room , we ate in the resteraunt and found the food to be of a good standard with attentive service , had a was on a living social deal so overall was good value ,

I stayed here for two nights with my grand-daughter. The hotel is dated but very clean. Rooms are very spacious. We had a suite and it was lovely to have a separate area for watching t.v. And reading. We also had a sea view. We didn't eat there, but had breakfast at a lovely little place just two minutes away which was great value. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but we slept well. Definitely well worth what I paid.

Room Tip: There is a very busy road outside so I would think it might be better to be on the top floor althoug...

The room was comfortable and large with a separate area for the children. Everything was clean and the beds were good. The restaurant was a bit pricey but the food was quite good.
We had the sea view. The staff was not so friendly, I would even say a bit cold but we were there for only one night and it was the only hotel left for us. In all I would recommend this hotel.

Stayed one night excellent service off the staff, we ate in the bar area at night had an excellent meal. The room was a good size bedding & towels were all clean but the bed was a bit lumpy and uncomfortable excellent location on the seafront took us about 15 mins to walk into the old town where there is a lot more variety of pubs

Stayed one night in room 208. Room was lovely and very big and accommodating. The whole hotel is very well looked after but the staff just didn't seem to care. Fish and chips for evening meal was some what poor with the thinnest piece of cod (probably whiting) and slightly under cooked chips. Very dissatisfied indeed. Bed was very comfortable and i had a good nights sleep. Buffet Breakfast was disgusting with Anaemic under cooked sausages and bacon to which I had to leave on the plate, together with the oddly looking mushrooms. The staff where not phased by this at all and seemed to think a joke and shrug of the shoulder was enough. Definitely not for me I'm afraid and I highly advise anyone to reconsider this hotel. I certainly will not be returning to this hotel....

Stayed in Room 402 on SAT May 10th 2014 and the bed's were uncomfortable, Bedding and towels were rock hard and like drying yourself with sand paper. On top of this cold water was lukewarm. Hot water was cold and the lighting in the room was very dim. For £76 a night I'd expect much better from this hotel The reception didn't listen to complaint saying not for them to deal with and the owner would be in contact. When in fact a guy from a call centre rings up and puts phone down when listening to complaint because of length of complaints and he couldn't get a word in. Room 205 is lovely but room 402 is awful
