“A nice apartment”
Reviewed 29 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

A very nicely appointed, tidy and clean apartment with lovely views of the sea, which were only slightly spoiled by the scaffolding that was up during our stay. The nice little touches you sometimes get in places were missing and the pillows could do with replacing, but these are very minor quibbles on a very good value stay.

Thanks Richard. Sounds like it's time to replace the pillows so thanks for the "heads up"!

“Like the photos but more spacious”

Stayed as a family if 4. The children loved the space and the crows nest bedroom with the peep whole window to the living area. We were on the sofa bed which is ok for a few nights. The views are beautiful, the kitchen is a proper full size kitchen with everything you could need to make a full meal. Good bathroom, rain shower and separate nice deep bath with heated towel rail. Parking is on the road for free or in a car park £2.20 for 24 h but a bit away from the flat, 2 -3 minute walk. In summary do not be put off by the shabby not chic front door to the building it is nice inside!

“Nice apartment in great location let down by it's surroundings”

This is a really nicely appointed apartment right on the seafront at Hastings. Reading the guest book, people really like staying here, but the owners should address some points that are likely to put visitors off in the future. OK Hastings has seen better days, but most of the premises on the seafront are being improved, therefore the front door (shared by all the apartments I'll admit) is an absolute disgrace (see photos) and the entrance lobby reeked of cat's pee. We got very good at holding our breath until we were safely inside the apartment.
The one downside of the mezzanine bed is that it's as far away from the toilet as it can be - not good for those of us with aging bladders!!

Liked best: The apartment is light and airy and has great sea views
Liked least: The front door/lobby. The bed on the mezzanine is miles away from the loo!!

“Beautiful Sea View”
Reviewed 5 June 2014 for a stay in May 2014

Very large living areas and a great sea view. Location is good and within 5 minutes of the centre of town. Parking was manageable and there is free all day within a few minutes walk but you need to be careful about your arrival and departure times if you use metered spaces as inspectors are very keen. The bedroom on the mezzanine was a little difficult for us older folk so we opted to sleep on the fold out couch. This allowed us to fall asleep watching TV. Everything is supplied for a very comfortable stay.

“Gorgeous apartment, lovely stay!”
Reviewed 11 April 2014 for a stay in October 2013

The pictures are great but the apartment is even better. The view is really special and we loved the sun streaming in through the huge windows. The apartment feels really spacious and light. We have a disabled 5 year old and struggle in small/overcrowded apartments, this was perfect for him. The shower in the bathroom was also well worth the stay alone. We enjoyed this apartment so much we are about to book again for some summer sun :)

“Lovely place with amazing views”
Reviewed 19 November 2013 for a stay in November 2013

Having lived in Hastings years ago, I knew the area but was very happily surprised by this place! The pictures looked great on Tripadvisor, but nothing compares to the moment you walk through the door and experience the huge Victorian ceilings and massive windows that show the sea and (sadly burnt down) pier. The part that really surprised me though, was just how far back the flat went – it really is like a tardis. It’s close enough to town – 5 minutes walk roughly – and close enough to St Leonards – 10 minutes to the marina – so it meets the location needs. There is underground parking nearby that costs £2.2 for 24hrs; living in Brighton I couldn't quite believe how cheap that was!
Clare’s photography on the wall was very impressive and overall the layout of the place was fantastic. My two year old son loved the open floor space and was running around everywhere. The toys they had did cover a wide age range (from babies to toddlers), but he was happy with the alphabet foam tiles – thank you for providing those! Additionally there were a nice selection of DVD's that would satisfy most people and entertain the kids too. The bathroom had a great stock of towels, bath toys (and mats) and toiletries.
I hope one day they will get the garden worked on, as it looked like a good sized space that I’m sure would be amazing to use on the warmer days. I would definitely stay here again.
