“The Best Fish and Chips EVER”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 November 2011

We always eat at the Life Boat when we are in Hastings. The portions are huge , there's never a bone in the fish and the tea as strong as you like !
You'll find it opposite the boating lake on the sea front. Open Tuesday-Sunday 11:30-9:00 .
Closed Mondays except in school holidays.

“Simply the best chip shop in Hastings.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 October 2011

This is the chip shop that the locals love. It's not in the most prominent position, but it makes up for this by having the best fish in town.

There are only a couple of tables inside, and a few outside, but it's worth seeking out. You have to wait slightly longer here for food as everything is freshly prepared, even for takeaways, but it's worth it.

Portions are huge, the batter on the fish is great, and the chips are good.

Don't let too many people know about it though because we don't want the queues to get too large!

If you're looking for good fish & chips, seek it out.
