“Excellent food and service”
Reviewed 7 June 2014

Just had a walk along seafront & spur of the moment decision to have fish and chips in a cafe. Couldn't have chosen a better one. ((Living locally we do know the good & bad ones). Had lovely traditional fish and chips, bread and butter and a nice cuppa. Excellent ! Menu very varied and will definitely return to try the Mezes and Baclava. Atmosphere very comfortable and relaxed. Waitress
Very attentive and friendly.Owners Chris and Despo have a little gem in Hastings.

“Charming owners, dog-friendly”
Reviewed 1 June 2014

Simple little beachfront cafe but with the most pleasant service ever. They brought out water and kibbles for Jill the fierce Jack Russell and had the brilliant idea of white wine spritzers to pass the time waiting for the food.

We had the old-fashioned fish, chips, buttered bread and tea and it was all tasty and clean. Since we took the Senior Citizens cod & chips it was also almost unbelievably cheap.

“Brilliant food, fantastic owner, dog friendly!”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

My family and I went to this cafe over the Bank holiday weekend in May.

Although we had been advised on Trip Advisor it was a dog friendly cafe, we still decided to sit outside in case of upsetting those who weren't particularly keen on sharing the restaurant with our dog.

The owner came out and we checked it was ok for us to have our dog. She exclaimed the weather wasn't great for us to be sat outside and went inside to put a 'shout out' if it was ok if we brought our dog in. The response was positive, so she showed us promptly to a table inside and gave us menus. Couldn't ask for better service or nicer locals!

The food was fantastic! My mum had the Fish and Chips and said it was one of the best she's ever had. Prices were brilliant as well!

To top it all, our dog was given some wonderful lamb treats and made to feel very welcome.

I can't recommend this place enough and credit the owners with knowing how to run a great business!

“Great owners, Chris and Dez, great food and hospitality”
Reviewed 17 May 2014 via mobile

Went here today with my husband and great friend for her birthday breakfast, this place gets it right every time. Best breakfast in Hastings, the owners, Chris and Dez are totally hands on and really know how to treat their customers-rare these days! They serve good quality food all day, large menu to suit all tastes and are licensed.
Thank you again, see you soon, Chrissy, Don and Gail
