“Good memories of Hastings”
Reviewed 21 July 2013

I remember visiting Hastings a few times as a child, and once with 3 generations of the family. It was a great time. We went on the cliff using the cable cars, had prawns or jellied eels from the stand then followed by a round of mini golf and hot sugared doughnuts! Finally, we went for a walk on the beach and had dinner in the Seagull Cafe. Planning to relive the very same experience in August. If you're into photography, there are some fantastic sights to see and snap away.

“Hastings Old Town Review.”
Reviewed 21 July 2013

I've been to Hastings about 15 times, i've been going ever since i was a few months old and i neverget bored of it. Hastings Old Town is a little town bursting with history. I'ts famous fisherman huts to fish and chips to museums to fun fairs Hastings has something for everyone. Its lively night life and busy day life theres always something to do wheather its relaxing with an ice cold beer on the sea front or playing crazy golf with an ice-cream. The smugglers caves and aquarium are a great day out and you dont have to leave Hastings Old Town to visit them. The best time to visit Hastings Old Town is when the carnival week is on, bike races, pram races, plank races, ghostly walks, street parties and the beach concert plus manymore are always a popular choice for tourists around the Globe and everyone has a great time sitting outside the pubs on a warm night with a glass of beer laughing and joking with their friends and loved ones. Hastings Old Town for me is the best destination in Great Britain. See You There Soon!

“A day trip to Hastings”
Reviewed 20 July 2013

Spent the day at Hastings last week and, though we loved the old town, was quite disappointed with the town centre which is quite down at heels. The old town smokehouses are very attractive and it was good to see that the block of flats in nearby reflecting their style. Both museums were very interesting, particularly the Shipwreck Museum, also the lift to the country park. The weather was very hot and there was no shade, anywhere near the beach, to sit in comfort apart from a long concrete walkway with a roof. Unfortunately the drinkers/drug users made it out of bounds.

“Still quirky”
Reviewed 20 July 2013

Hastings Old Town may go up-market in the next few years, so now is the time to visit if you like a Bohemian area with little shops and pubs. Between two shops is a hidden staircase to the West Hill.
