Not the cheapest place to purchase fish and chips but the quality is there. Recommend ordering to take out as the eat-in option is rather more expensive than would be desirable given the place.

This is not just your average Fish and Chip restaurant on the seafront - it's on a different level completely.

The food is cooked to perfection - the crispiest batter I've ever tasted. Very reasonably priced.

And you've GOT to try the milkshakes - they are outstanding.

We visit hastings at least twice a year and every time we Come to the fish bar. Yes it is quite expensive for what you get but the food and service has always been good. We have never even tried anywhere else to eat. It is an actual tradition for us now that no visit to hastings is complete without eating at this restaurant. One downfall is it does get really hot in there especially when it's hot outside.

Food is average and eating in is a rip off. Portions are smaller than eating out and much more expensive. Take away large chips is £2 but eat in price is £3 and comes on a medium sized plate which is not the potion you would get if taking out. Would also like to know what is with the reserved table as its always reserved and always empty when we visit the town. Been there twice and wont be back a third. Good luck to you. Ripping people off is more important than gaining customer loyalty, The Labor party is not in power anymore its The Tories so be cheap and cheerful not over priced and pretentious.

A good fish and chip shop...not the best in Hastings but certainly in the top five. Best when its busy....handy car park alongside.
