Brilliant price, lovely and clean, friendly and welcoming staff and the bar & brassiere attached was of very high standard of food.
Nicely decorated and cosy. I was given a parking voucher to park in the secure multi storey car park overnight for free-Brilliant!
I definitely recommend this place to everyone and will be booking again soon.

From ease of check-in to comfort of the room to quality of breakfast. Only minor downside was the multistorey carpark directly opposite but that's not the hotels fault.. the hotel building was there first! Perfectly positioned for the railway station, shops, seafront and old town. Highly recommended.

What a nice stay.
Wonderful room (top price but worth every penny!), it was roomy, had a lovely ensuite, and a big tv.
Do not bother booking if you want a sea view! I knew the location so didn't mind.
Very central and wonderful breakfast. Plus you get a door key so can come back any time!

A great weekend stay.the breakfast was a buffet style and impossible to fault.the room we had was a basic and included a lovely shower and a lovely comfy bed. The loo was outside in th hall but was no hardship whatsoever.... if I paid a bit more we could have had an ensuite the service excellent the staff very friendly and altogether a brilliant time.the location could get a tad noisy but it IS in the centre of a seaside resort so if any guests complain it would be their own fault.

Room Tip: If you suffer from a weak bladder go for an ensuite

I spent 2 nights at this hotel over the May Day bank holiday weekend. The staff were very pleasant, efficient and helpful. I had a spacious, attractive and comfortable room, but there was some traffic noise. The main drawback was the lack of storage space in the room and a lack of attention to detail e.g. the light shades on the bedside lights had clearly come loose and not been replaced. There was no light over the bathroom mirror. My daughter and her boyfriend who also stayed there had the smallest basin I have ever seen in their bathroom. The breakfast was well cooked but strangely the smoked salmon was cold and put on top of the scrambled egg and the bread was poor quality. I was asked to pay on arrival and I can understand why this was, but it doesn´t give a very good impression. This is potentially a good quality hotel and with a little more attention to detail could be greatly improved.

Room Tip: If traffic noise bothers you, it may be possible to ask for a quiet room.

We stayed there for 40 pound my partner and I. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was a good size and had a comfortable bed. Fully working shower and plenty of teas and coffees in room. Very clean also.
Breakfast was included in price recommend full English sausages and bacon great quality. You can have cereals, fruit, yoghurts and muffins also. You won't find better value!!
Also pissaros next door is owned by them and is a nice friendly bar.
