This is real south Indian cooking. It's not English curry so please don't expect to get your after pub favourites or Burger King turn around times.
I'm talking Idli, Dosa, coconut chutney and deep fried South Indian fish. We had these starters followed by a selection of rich curries (lamb, chicken and prawn) and there were no empty plates. I can recommend the beautiful little soft parathas too.
Service is relaxed (perhaps shambolic) for sure (again this is how it is in India!) but you are eating in a small family run outift so go with the flow or go elsewhere.
The lady of the house cooks (diners can view) and her husband serves so arrive early for a night in.
If you want to try food you won't find often outside of Tamil Nadu come here for quite and experience.
