We used this hotel as a base for visiting nearby town like Rye and Brighton. Booked in advance and was well worth it as the price does go up if you don't. Easy to find and located on a nice tree lined avenue. 10 mins in car or £6 in a taxi to Hastings town centre. Nice sea front and harbour. Went everywhere in the car and parking was cheap. However, would advise taking the train to Brighton (1hour) as parking in Brighton can be a nightmare in peak periods. Rail stations at both St Leonard's and Hastings. Hotel very clean as always with premier Inns and the staff are lovely and helpful. Were there during a heat wave and the room was unbearably hot, no air con. They really need some! We didn't want to pay £8.95 ish for a big breakfast so we went to Sainsburys next door ( full English £3.99) and they did smaller things like a bacon sandwich etc. McDonalds also just across the road. We did try and eat at the restaurant attached to the premier Inn in the evening but it was heaving and too hot ! Seems to be used by the locals as well. Would advise to book as it gets full in peak times.

Fabulous and helpful staff, but lack of air conditioning led to a very hot room.
The hotel is a long way from Hastings town centre.
Premier Inn Hastings was not as good as the other Premier Inns I have stayed in.

We stayed here on a balmy Saturday night in July and unfortunately the hotel had no air conditioning. Windows are on a safety catch so two fans were provided to cool our room down. Unfortunately these were a bit noisy for me & dodgy with small children poking fingers in. Had I realised I would have booked elsewhere.

I do really like Premier Inns as a rule. They are convenient and give free cot beds and children are always made to feel welcome which I like. This place is fine if you get a good deal on the room. I have to say, I felt short-changed this time as I thought breakfast was included at time of booking. We paid massively over the odds but no breaky! :-(

Good to find, really friendly personell even though they had a Lot to do.
Room, clean simple, Choice of pillows, Hard or soft, bathroom with Bath and spotless. Tea And coffee facilities and a flatscreen. What more do you need And all that for a decent price. Brillant, will definately use Premier Inn again.

We stayed in this hotel for one night. It is well placed about 10 mins drive from Hastings - (£6 in a taxi).

The cleanliness and comfort was the usual high standards for Premier Inn. The staff were friendly, informative and eager to help.
We slept well but were rudely awoken by people in the room above who thought it acceptable to let their children bounce up and down at 7am on a Sunday morning - I am partially deaf and it was loud to me. Pointed this out to staff on leaving although it was clearly not the hotels fault.
I would highly recommend this hotel but get a room on the top floor to avoid being subjected to other peoples children!

Booked this room in June for 2 nights. Had no idea the rooms had no air con.

Email 1 night before stay saying something like "we hope you're looking forward to staying with us - as we have no air con and it's hot we have...."

Have 2 fans for 4 people is really not enough to keep cool in the night.

The corridor was definitely cooler by at least 5 degrees.

Have always had a comfy stay here, but the lack of air con made it unbearable with 2 children in the soaring July heat.

Needs a refit to deal with the excessive temperatures.
