An excellent, value for money stay in a clean and comfortable hotel. Breakfasts(all you can eat) were full english and continental and were presented in a help yourself buffet style. Only drawback was a minor problem with our second evening meal. (Waited for 45 minutes due to technical problem with the kitchen computer??).

14th/15th August - Premier Inn spot on - rooms clean and well maintained and air conditioning working --- Restaurant next door an absolute nightmare both evenings with people going back to the counter to get their money back as they had been waiting in excess of an hour from time of ordering with getting served. Ended up eating elsewhere and fortunately for some at least MacDonald's was just down from the Hotel!! Regrettably breakfast did not fare that much better than the evening service but at least we had time to spare in the mornings. I am sure that staffing levels was the problem, both front of house and kitchens.

Friendly staff, clean and well kept hotel. Restaurant gets very busy so get in early to get specific food or late if you're not fussy. Parking gets very busy early evening. If you like quiet ask for a room away from the road side. Baths are slippery but they keep shower mats at reception so ask for one when you arrive.

A very good friendly, clean Premiere Inn, would stay again. Although would recommend going to Sainsbury's across the road for breakfast as to expensive in the resturant next to the premiere inn. Plenty of car park space

We stayed here 09-11 August 2014 whilst visiting friends in Hastings. Very convenient location on the edge of town on the A21, next to a Sainsbury's store and petrol station, a McDonald's a very short walk away and a Brewers Fayre on-site for breakfast and dinner. Parking is, as mentioned in other reviews, free.
First, the positives: every member of staff was polite, friendly and helpful. No, I shouldn't need to write that but unfortunately these days this type of service is optional in most places. They are a credit to Premier Inn. Our check-in was fast and efficient. The room itself - we stayed in Room 112 - had everything we needed and was spotless and surprisingly large, so when it chucked it down on Sunday morning we didn't feel as if we were crammed together while we waited for the weather to improve.
We had dinner and breakfast both nights in the Brewers Fayre: the evening menu has a very good choice - I was rather impressed by the children's menu too, which was far more extensive than the usual sausage/nuggets/fish fingers and chips offered in other places - and the breakfast buffet had a very good choice of both cooked and continental items.
Unfortunately (and every hotel is only as good as its' guests) we had an elephant in the room above us on the Saturday night. Doing laps of the room, by the sound of it. Consequently we found it difficult to sleep, and went to reception on Sunday morning to ask if the elephant was staying another night. He wasn't, but the receptionist immediately said she would refund the cost of our previous night's stay, even though that wasn't the objective of our question. A company that's good to it's promise ("A good night guaranteed or your money back") - again, a rare thing these days...
To us the only negative was that we prefer to sleep with the window open but the noise from traffic (going to and from McDonald's mainly) was a bit much so we had the air-con on, and although quiet (and quieter than the elephant) it was still a bit loud for me so it took me a while to nod off on Sunday night, but once asleep it was a good night.
Overall, though, it was a very good stay. Would I stay here again? Yes. Would I recommend it? Yes, but not to pachyderms...

Room Tip: A top-floor room (Rooms 201-228) will ensure you don't have any elephants tramping around over y...

Another good stay at this hotel, one of the kids beds was a bit near the plug sockets but they dealt with that as soon as we mentioned it. The kids play area in the breakfast area is a so useful in keeping them amused while you eat your breakfast.
