Just had the one night here en route home. We had a rear facing family suite which was huge. It had a large double bed, a sitting area with chairs, table and flatscreen tv then a large bathroom and through that another bedroom with twin beds, tv and wardrobe. Bedding was good quality cotton and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was very modern but my only criticism of this was that the two corner mirrors were totally impractical for applying makeup as I had to stand on tip toes to reach round the sink to see. Definitely needs a pull out mirror on the wall for shaving and makeup. Also, loose tile on the floor needs fixing and the carpet in the bedroom was badly stained. I believe this was a bad choice of carpeting as this pale flooring shows marks.
Reception was very helpful and friendly and there was a small carpark at rear. Would stay here again.

We booked very last minute and was very pleased to find that the hotel could accomodate us. Our room was a lovely twin double bedroom at the back with a nice bathroom. Facilities in the room were very good - appreciated the fridge in the room. Staff were very helpful. There is a great games room in the basement where we relaxed and watched a DVD - all to ourselves. The food smelt lovely and we did eat breakfast on the second day which was very tasty and reasonably priced. The food in general smelt lovely and we will eat there when we return. Excellent location - if you have small children it is worth noting that a bus runs past the hotel which takes you to Old Town and the amusements - good for tired legs at the end of the day! Lovely weekend and would recommend this hotel.

My husband and i have stayed here this year about four or five times now. This hotel is good all round. We have stayed in the seaview rooms and the rear rooms, we prefer the rear rooms as better night sleep and good value. The rooms have all been nice and clean, only found dust in bathroom but that was only once. I love that they have a bar and restaurant because you dont have to leave the hotel if you dont want to go out. The food is not al la carte but is good and enjoyable, you can also get cocktails and great Carr Taylor wine at the bar which is made in Hastings. Its a very busy hotel and bar. The hotel is on the seafront and has a bus stop right outside. All the staff are very good and nice. The hotel is very close to town so is good if on a late night out. We will be back again this year im sure, oh and has a private lounge to read and computer to use and lifts to all floors...

Room Tip: You cant beat the rear double rooms at £64 as quieter for sleeping...

We recently stayed for the weekend. It is ideally situated for walking either to the old town, or St Leonards. The only room available was a double at the rear. The room was clean but rather drab and small. There were cracks in the walls, the en-suit door handle was very loose and the the mixer tap on the sink was broken. The bar and dining area however were very good. There is also a very nice outside terrace which is split in the middle. I thought it a bit 'over the top' that smoking was not permitted on either side of the terrace, after all it is totally outside. We had to dine out in order I may enjoy an after dinner minature cigar! A big bonus here is the car park at the rear as parking is at a premium in Hastings these days due to most on road parking now being permit holders only, or shorts stays i.e. 4 hors maximum.

Room Tip: A sea view room would be very nice but would be noisy though the traffic in the mornings

Lovely staff! The lady who checked us in gave us a very warm welcome which was much appreciated! We paid for a premium room with sea view and I was a little disappointed with the rather drab decor ... But the room was very clean and the fridge was very welcome, as was the complimentary bottled water and the good quality biscuits. The bed was very comfortable ... So good my partner wanted to bring it home! The room had two very comfortable chairs and it was lovely to sit with the French doors open and watch the sea. The bathroom was spacious with a great bath and good shower. Clean towels were provided daily and the toiletries were restocked. The lady who serviced the room was lovely and very accommodating of our lie-ins - thank you!

My only gripe is that we were there for 4 days and the bedding was not changed during this time ... The joy of a nice hotel, rather than a B&B, is a lovely crisp clean bed every night.

This isn't a fault of the hotel because they can do absolutely nothing about it, but the noise from traffic is very loud until very late at night and each night there were very noisy youngsters who inhabited the shelter opposite until very late at night. I just feel anybody looking for peace and quiet and an early night should be aware of this.

Thank you for an enjoyable stay ... We'd certainly return!

Weve stayed here quite a few times and love it.
They do a good cooked breakfast which is well received by my partner and the kids. The weather was amazing so that helped.
Only major thing to be aware if is the refurbishment of the theatre next door.
This is ok as long as you're not near that end.
We were woken up at 7am both Mornings by shouting and banging and squeaky pulley systems.
It seems that this has been unusual. We made light of it the first morning but went down to reception to complain in a nice way the second but they got louder!!!
Anyhow- we're back there again thiis week but not in the same rooms as before.
Strongly recommended.

Lovely room facing the sea with a Juliette balcony. Facilities in the room were very good. Large bathroom. Excellent staff. We didn't eat in the hotel but the beer sampled by my husband got the thumbs up.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front may be a little noisy if you are not used to traffic. Seagulls and pigeons landi...
