Nice hotel right on the front. Staff are nice and friendly. Room was good, with a sea view. Good supply of tea and coffee. Air con unit came in handy because the room was quite warm because the sun was shining. Although the room was basic, it was clean and tidy. Perfect for our needs. We had a lunch there one day and it was good. The new town is about 5mins walk away and the old town 10mins walk. Room was cleaned everyday we were there. Towels replaced daily too. Highly recommended...free wifi was a bit hit and miss....but that didnt bother us because we were glad not to be disturbed by emails and facebook!!!!

Great boutique hotel right on the seafront overlooking the rather sad burnt out pier. It will be even nicer to sit out on one of two decking areas, enjoying a drink as the sun goes down when it has been rebuilt.

We stayed here for just one night and had a nice, clean room with good bathroom. Our room was very quiet as it was at the back of the hotel overlooking the car park. The staff were all very friendly and helpful even on a busy Friday night.

Good restaurant area with varied choice on menu. Our rate didn't include breakfast but we were offered a 20% discount if we wanted breakfast in the hotel. The car park was full when we arrived but were given a permit to use in the underground car park opposite.

The real bonus was that they allow dogs throughout the hotel! Must be one of very few hotels that have such a relaxed attitude - so we will definitely be staying again.

Room Tip: rooms at the rear are quieter, rooms at the front have a seaview.

After getting caught up in traffic I arrived at the hotel quite stressed. We were immediately given a warm greeting and shown to our room. Even though we didn't arrive until late in the hotel we still managed to acquire a parking space. We upgraded to a sea view room and it was certainly worth it . The room was lovely . After a late night we asked for a later check out and got one . I can't comment on the restaurant because I didn't use it. I would fully recommend this hotel and will definitely return . Thankyou for a lovely stay .

The location of this hotel is great - being right on the front in Hastings. There is car parking available, but this is limited. However, there's plenty of free parking immediately around the hotel (from 18.00 to 09.00 each night). Accessibility from the reception area is fine, with a lift going to all floors, but if you use the hotel car park at the rear then there are two or three steep flights of stairs which are unavoidable if elderly or disabled guests want to get to reception/ the bar/ dining room etc. Some sort of warning signage would be useful. Rooms were fine - clean, well kept with good en-suite facilities. However, using the (over-bath) shower or bath would have presented problems again to elderly or infirm guests as it involves a 2ft+ step over the bath surround. Really difficult - especially without any sort of hand-rail.

There's a really good range of bar snacks/ light meals available throughout the day and evening, but if you want dinner, you are going to have to go out. The breakfast menu is wide ranging and adequately cooked. My main problems is that this hotel prides itself on being pet friendly - and this extends to guests taking their dogs into the dining room. Keeping them in their rooms is fine, but I really object to sharing my breakfast with damp dogs who have just been out for their pre-breakfast constitutional.

Overall, it's fine as a bog-standard English seaside hotel that slightly over-sells itself.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back would have a very restricted view. Ask for a room overlooking the sea.

Wonderful location and very friendly and helpful staff. Sea-facing room and ensuite bathroom were clean with a generous offering of coffee, tea, hot chocolate and biscuit. The mini fridge was really useful for us to put cool drinks and snacks in.

However, in spite of advertising free Wi-Fi (apparently it has also just been updated), we could not get an internet connection which was extremely frustrating. I also feel that the nightly rate of £84 was expensive especially as breakfast was not included. The Little Jill cooked breakfast was delicious, but we waited for it for 25 minutes!

We loved that the hotel was pet-friendly and although we didn't have our animals, we enjoyed being around those that were there.

Basically, the hotel did what it needed to do.

Room Tip: No complaint about the sea-facing room.

We came here just for a day trip but decided to stay over the night before rather than driving up on the Saturday morning. We arrived just after 9pm on a Friday night, and were promptly shown to our room. We went for the budget double bed room (at £64 a night). At first I was a bit worried about this as there is no picture on the website, but my worries were unfounded. The room is a decent size, and the bathroom was huge! A small wardrobe and table were in the corner complete with an array of teas, coffees, mugs and a kettle. The bathroom was well kitted out with a 3 piece suite and a range of soaps, shower gels and shampoo. The bedsheets were white and crisp as per the website. For the low price, I couldn't really complain. For parking, unfortunately, the private car park was full so we were given a free overnight pass to the car park opposite the hotel.

The next morning, we had breakfast in the terrace bar. We both opted for the smaller full English breakfast which came with a drink. The food itself was fairly average (we thought our usual home cooked Saturday morning fry up was better!). A 20% discount was applied as it was charged to our room, so it came to £9.60 for the two of us. It was a shame we couldn't arrive earlier on the Friday evening (due to work) as I would have liked to stay a bit longer in the room! We checked out at half 10 and paid the mere £73.60 for room and breakfast. We also kept the car in the same car park and paid £2.20 for a 24 hour pass! The location itself is quite central although there are hotels slightly closer to the town centre and Old Town.

Would definitely stay at this hotel again. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: If you are on a budget, then opt for the double rooms! Don't worry about the lack of a picture o...

My wife and I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Our bedroom was roomy and the bed comfortable. Nice shower, bath, wardrobe etc. We had a sea view including a view of the burnt out pier (being restored). The road was a busy, noisy road. Parking was available. There was a lift but it was very small. Staff helpful and polite. Parts of the hotel could do with a bit of a facelift eg. old looking carpets and flaking paintwork.
