Apart from the wait to check in due to only one obvious member of staff who was serving behind the bar, yet another great value for money weekend away. The new kingsize beds with dreamer mattress made for a great night's sleep.

After having an extremely bad previous experience of travelodge we were not sure whether to take a chance and use our e-vouchers. We decided to book one nearer to home incase we did not feel like staying.
I am pleased to say that this travelodge was so different. The staff were welcoming as soon as we walked through the door. Nothing was too much trouble and every member of staff greeted you. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
The cooked breakfast was a little disappointing as it is cooked and kept under a hotplate. There was limited option and the eggs were only scrambled. There is more choice with a cold breakfast.
It is definitely the staff that makes this travelodge a great experience and we would definitely stay again.

All rooms have been redecorated - so good beds, pillows and all clean and fresh again.

One of the friendliest welcomes I have had at ANY hotel even though it as a Sunday 2nd March.

Free parking can be had on the road outside - it does fill up with office workers during the day and hotel residents during the evening. Having said that, the hotel's car park is vast.

Walked to the Old Town (took 25 mins including a MacDonalds takeout) for live Music during Hastings Music Festival on Fat Tuesday - all three venues I went to were free with excellent beers,

Breakfast was good and the breakfast chef will start at 645am if you ask him; it normally starts at 7am. Continental breakfasts are ready by 630am - but check first if its important.

Got very busy Monday night onwards with builders. There was some smoking taking place inside the rooms.

Room Tip: Park on street; office workers clear-off after 5pm. Pizza Hut and Aldi are 5 mins walk away up the h...

I recently stayed at this travel lodge overnight with the breakfast service in the morning. The staff were very welcoming and helpful upon arrival and the room was absolutely lovely (family room even though it was just me and my wee boy, all the way from Scotland!). The following morning David the manager was extremely helpful and efficient with nothing being too much trouble at all with my every need, including helping with all my luggage. Would definatley recommend this hotel to stay for cleanliness and overnight requirements being met, but overall the personal attension and friendly attitudes from all staff made our stay actually quite enjoyable.

Room Tip: Highly recommend the family room with a very comfy and clean mattress

Usual value for money with a clean, quiet room. Good attached restaurant with value for money meal deals but key attribute is definitely the Manager and team of staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Recommended "place to stay" to access South Coast towns and villages.
