Bedrooms fitted to a high standard. The cozy double rooms are a little small. If you can afford I would recommend you book a more expensive room. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly owners & staff who made you feel very welcome.

This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Met by the owner, who provided tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival. The room. number 5, was fabulous. Spotlessly clean and well designed The breakfast was perfect, good choice and freshly cooked. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and we will go back at the drop of a hat.

Room Tip: The front rooms have a great view of the sea

THE GOOD; beautiful room superbly furnished, bed and linens A1, robes and slippers, TV, cd player, radio, tea and coffee maker plus biscuits, lots of power points, hair dryer, lots of mirrors. the bathroom very modern with all the goodies.
The breakfast was served at table with excellent selection no buffet rush.
The shower was useless no power but bath was good, nice towels, we had room 6 which was rather small, there is no lift and as a mature couple found the stairs a bit challenging. there seems to be lots of parking spaces on street and a disabled bay almost opposite.Shane the owner was very helpful and obliging

Room Tip: If you are ok with stairs no problem but be warned rooms 6 & 7 are a good climb Webb's fish...

Loved the room and facilities. Was very clean, and decorated beautifully. And the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Would recommend anyone staying here. Is just 20min walk to old town which has lots of nice restaurants and bars.

We wanted a little mini-break and called Hastings House on a Friday morning. Yes, they had one room remaining, so we booked on a whim and drove down to the coast. We asked about parking and were told that it was available close-by at a price, which we secured during the reservation process. In fact, we paid £145 per night with an additional £4.50 per night for parking. Once we saw the facility, we believe that, for that room price in a B&B, the parking should be included. The room was very well decorated...wonderful large bathroom which was well-supplied. The breakfast was also exceptional with our host doing absolutely everything to make it an enjoyable experience. Hastings House is close enough to old Hastings to make it walk-able and the shore is nearly within arm's reach which makes it a great spot during nice weather. Although we enjoyed our 2 nights in Hastings, we believe we will most likely book at other facilities if we return, completely because we think the price was just a bit elevated for the facility and room. However, we want to give compliments to the owners of Hastings House for the very lovely decor, the attention to detail, and their hospitality. Well done all. It is only the price that would encourage a different decision in the future.

Room Tip: Don't hesitate to book but do realize that you may pay more than you think is fair once you see...
