Would highly recommend staying at this beautful place. Seng , the owner couldn't do enough to make sure the visit was all we wabted. Bedrooms are all individually designed to a very high standard & bathrooms top quality too. Breakfast was an experience to be enjoyed with all food freshly prepared. Very near the sea front & near some good restaurants too. Certainly a place to return to.

All bedrooms were excellent, designed and fitted to a very high quality. Breakfast was lovely and service was next to none.
Well worth a visit.

We stayed for 2 nights, and on arrival met a very warm welcome and great attentive service. The owners are very friendly and helpful.
We had room 6 on the top floor which was very sylishly deocrated with high quality furnishings. The bathroom was very clean and modern, and the large roll top bath was great.
This is the only hotel we can remember staying at where the bottled water from the mini bar is free, and the price of other beverages very reasonable.
Breakfast was also great, high quality ingredients, perfectly cooked.
While Hastings itself is a typical south coast seaside town, the Hastings House Hotel is a little gem in the midst of it.

What a great place to stay, nothing was too much trouble, a really friendly welcome and great reccomendations for evening food. The rooms are fantastic, very comfortable with great finishes and nice touches like fresh flowers , bath robes and an A-Z guide. The bathrooms were also immaculate with lovely smellies and a 5 star finish, it really felt like we were in a top notch hotel, but with a very intimate and friendly feel. The honesty bar in the room is a great idea and it's nice to have a fridge in your room....a rare thing in most B&B's.
The breakfast was delicious, a good choice and nicely presented...one of the best I have had in any hotel that I have stayed in.
You really should try Hatsings House out as it is a real treat and would be equally as nice for a romatic weekend away aswell as for a business trip....why stay at a Best Western or a Travel Lodge when you can get great service and great value for money???? You would be mad not to!!

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with Hastings House. Although I had high expectations from looking at the website I was certainly not disappointed. It is finished to a high standard and immaculately kept. Also the little touches make this so much more than a B&B, fresh flowers in the room, bath robes, complimentary water in the mini bar, biscuits with the tea & coffee facilities..... I could go on and on.
The breakfast selection offered was perfect and the owners were friendly, helpful but unobtrusive.
I have stayed in many 4 & 5 star hotels around the world and Hastings House ranks as one of the best.
My husband and I will definitely be staying the next time we are on the south coast.
