“Not really impressed with food, place was nice”

Steak was tough to say it was rare, not a very good piece so meat on the mixed grill. Hubby not impressed, left most of dinner and no waitress came to ask.

“Wino's paradise”

An impressive array of early morning boozers were stumbling around before 10 last Saturday morning. A great spot to top up before the hangover kicks in.

“Lost its way..........”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 July 2014

We used this particular Wetherspoons several times on a previous visit to Hastings, but on our last trip, it proved very disappointing.
The beer quality, in particular, had declined from being extremely high to almost having to be returned. Almost.........
We returned for breakfast the following day. My partner's breakfast wrap was fine but elements of my meal were stone cold. In fairness, the staff apologised and brought me a piping hot replacement but I really noticed an overall decline in food and drink quality, and customer service, with staff serving people out of turn and tables being left uncleared. Shame..........

“Nice start to the day”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 July 2014

On route to short break, spent a day in Hastings. Started off with breakfast at Weatherspoons as we have always been pleased with breakfast at other Weatherspoons. Only 2 young girls working at bar at time of our visit. They were extremely efficient. Breakfast was up to usual standard and piping hot. They also found time to check we were happy with everything - pity all establishments don't follow this good example. Free coffee refills appreciated.

“Disappointing”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 June 2014

We thought we'd give this Wetherspoons a try as we usually get a good value meal. Although busy the place was clean and the bar staff pleasant. The food was brought quickly for what appeared to be a busy lunchtime. However, the meal itself was disappointing. We had both chosen a jacket potato with pulled pork. We have had it in a number of Wetherspoons and it has always been filling. Unfortunately, this was not the case here. The portion size seemed smaller, both in the potato size and the the amount of filling. There didn't even appear to be the same amount of salad served with it. Sadly , we'll not be returning.
