We stayed for one night, needing a bed nearby a friend's 50th birthday party in Lewes. Lucky to get a fairly late booking. A lovely welcome from Carol and Ceri. A lovely large room, with en-suite shower and bath. All beautifully furnished and equipped. Peaceful night's sleep and a great breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the well kept garden. Wished we could have stayed longer.

We stayed at Beechwood bed and breakfast for the first time and we weren't disappointed. It certainly has the 5 star treatment and service. We had an amazing breakfast each morning with lots of choice but you do need to decide the night before what you will be eating, but it's served in their lovely conservatory.
We would definitely return again and would recommend this B&B.

Four of us had tickets for Glyndebourne and wanted to make a weekend of it. Finding a great B&B close by to Glynde, for two nights, was a key objective. Happy to welcome us and allow us to arrive in good time to shower and change for the opera, I was fortunate in finding Beechwood. Great hosts, clean and comfortable accommodation, generous and well cooked breakfasts (from the B&B that buys more smoked salmon in its buying group than any other!). And really helpful in identifying - and kindly booking - a great pub-diner close by for our second night's dinner.

Room Tip: Rooms on the south side have no main road traffic noise

Spotlessly clean throughout. Excellent, large room, with own bathroom, tea & coffee making facilities. Delicious breakfast served in their lovely conservatory overlooking the beautiful garden.

This elegantly decorated B&B is ideally located - 10 minutes' drive from Glynderbourne and the historic town of Lewes where we visited Anne of Cleeves house. The two rooms and bathrooms we occupied were impeccably clean, beautifully decorated and showed extreme attention to detail to ensure the comfort of the guests. Although one of the bathrooms is not ensuite, it was not a problem to us as it was totally private to our room, spacious, well equipped with large fluffy towels, an array of toiletries and a superb power shower. The small fridge in the room was an unexpected bonus rarely found in a B&B. Good quality and vast choice of breakfasts served in a beautiful conservatory overlooking the large mature garden.
Carol's advice and recommendation of local quality pubs and restaurants proved most valuable.Thank you Ceri for delighting us with your beautiful piano playing.
We have stayed in quite a few 5& B&B's but our friendly hosts offered us a service above expectation. Caro and Ceri, you deserve every single award bestowed upon Beechwood!
