I stayed for one night here as my family attended a wedding at the George Inn.
I found it easy to book in, my room was clean and had good amenities. Bathroom although in need of modernisation was clean and had hot water.
Food was spot on very nice.
Jack Daniels in the bar was nice and there was a warm and relaxing environment, Chris is a very friendly host and we chatted a while.
He went out of his way to make the stay pleasant, he even loaned me a iron to get my suit nice.
I slept very well. Bed was nice.
Chris gives it 100% effort and I can't thank him enough.

I spend one romantic night under the roof of this B&B. I got a room facing the back garden which climbs the slope of that picturesque old town. The owner was very attentive and in a lovely way helpful. He also serves the breakfast in the salon downstairs which embraces you with a traditional English atmosphere. Everything very clean and well kept!

It's definitely a great place to spend your stay in Rye, well priced and lovely, decently decorated. Albeit there is a major road just outside the door, there is a small garden in front of the building and traffic noise is not molesting.

We didn't have a booking and just went there spontaneously on a friday evening. We got the last room. It was very small, but very clean. We had the shower and toilet outside the room, but there was nobody else to share with, so we were fine with it. It is on a main street, and the noise comes through the windows, but that didn't disturb us.
Chris was very friendly and told us about where we should go. Breakfast was great, a very good home cooked full english breakfast. We would recommend everybody to stay there. If we go there again, we will definately stay at Aviemore Guest house.

We stayed here one Saturday in September and it was exactly what we needed. A 5 min walk from all the main attractions of Rye. The room we had was a comfortable double en suite, with dresser, tea and kettle, shower gel and soap provided. Bed was comfy! My partner could hear the neighbouring room through the firedoor adjoining but it wasn't loud enough to keep me awake. Chris was friendly and helpful and they let us leave our bags and check in early/leave late. One of the only guest houses I contacted that took bookings for only one night on a weekend. As a gay couple we were a bit nervous but had absolutely no problems staying here.

Breakfast is delicious (especialy bacon) and bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend Avienmore. Thank you Chris and Angela for your hospitality. Jacek and Somporn.

We stayed here with our 8 month son and it was brilliant. Delicious breakfast, super comfortable bed and Chris and Angela couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. They recommended great pubs and events. Rye is a beautiful village and we would definitely recommend visiting and staying in this lovely B&B.

My husband and I stayed here last Saturday and Sunday nights for a bank holiday trip to Rye. This guest house is perfect for visiting Rye. Chris is a lovely man who made our stay very comfortable. The room was spotless, with a small but adequate en-suite. Breakfast was beautifully cooked with local produce. My husband was provided with lashings of hot milk for his 4 weetabix breakfast, which has never been available anywhere else. Chris is friendly, knowledgable and interested in his guests. We would have no hesitation in recommending this guest house.
