“Best Apartment Location in Rye”

We stayed at The Boathouse for one week but wished it could have been longer, The apartment in in the perfect location, with changing river views, lots of bird life, and just a very short walk to historic Rye town. The balcony is the perfect spot to watch the birds and relax with a glass of wine in the evening, and also a cup of tea early morning. It is generally very quiet, adults only was a huge bonus for us, but the is a busy road that you can hear fairly nearby.
The apartment had everything you need to cook an elaborate meal if you wanted to, but we chose to mostly eat either in one of the wide choice of restaurants in the town, or to get some tasty treats from the local deli, the supermarket near the train station was also surprisingly good. The apartment was also very clean throughout.
A lovely surprise was the chilled bottle of bubbly left for us in the fridge, which gave our holiday a great start. Thank you!
Booking procedure and communication from Chris was excellent throughout, we highly recommend staying at The Boathouse in Rye.

“A location to remember”

I stayed at no. 11 and it was exactly as I had hoped. The location is first rate and the property is an ideal size for two people.
Parking is included which is always a bonus for me and it was only a 10 minute walk (for me) into Rye.
A good base for visiting Kent and East Sussex.
Thank you, Chris.

“Cosy little get away with scenic views”

An excellent base to explore both the historic town of rye and the wetlands bird sanctuary/beach.
Being on the edge of town next too the river, it's peaceful with views out to sea but only a few minute walk into the center.
Extra little touches like a few basic essentials (milk, tea etc) left in the kitchen was appreciated as we arrived on Xmas eve.

“Perfect for a relaxing break”

The appartment was well equipped and contained everything neccessary for two people to enjoy a comfortable stay. The front of the appartment overlooking the river faces south so benefitting from the sun most of the day. The location is good for walking into Rye or the nearby Rye Harbour Nature Reserve and Winchelsea. The Wi-Fi was good and although it dropped out intermitently was more than adequate for checking emails and web sites, which is all that's needed when you are on holiday. Rye is an interesting small town with a wide range of shops and restaurants, and makes a good base for exploring the East Sussex and Kent.
The weather was mixed but this did not spoil our stay as the apartment was so convenient.
