“Pleasant town pub”
Reviewed 11 March 2014

PLeasing, frienddly welcome; good beer and good, reasonable food. Pleasant surroundings with that nice English backstreet pub feel to it. Obviously popular. The only down side for us - not for everybody - are the rather loud TV's which are fine if that's what you want but not if you want to be able to have a conversation!

Reviewed 21 January 2014 via mobile

Went in for some drinks and our glasses were offensively dirty. All tw clean ones above the bar looked cloudy and dirty in fact. We will never go back.

“Pleasantly surprised”
Reviewed 17 November 2013

This Pub is a traditional Locals place, offering well presented beers, and typical good food with generous portions. I had a main course meal together with two of my Sons, as a thank you for their hard work in the Garden. Everyone was satisfied with our individual meals of which I had Hunters Chicken, only observation was it took about 35 minutes to come, but well worth the wait! we were full.
Book in advance for larger groups of more than 4, very historic ambience olde worlde and bit dated, a real Seaside Pub at the east end of the old high street, well worth a look.
No Wow factor really for people that would be content with just a friendly small civilisied snug of a Pub, that says " go on give me a try, your welcome " it says exactly what it is on the can Old Pub values, dont expect the Ritz just Seaford old town character that has been used for generations !
