We visited the museum and factory shop first, then went to the tea-room for Scones and Jam.

100% recommend it - great service.

Lovely place to visit. Tea Room is simply wonderful, and the food was excellent. Already planning my next visit.

great salad, piles of meat and easy friendly service. Picked up some jams from the shop on the way out.

We did look forward to this, however the service was slow and the ham in the sandwiches was 80% fat 10% ham. You would have to know you have to know you have put that amount of fat in a sandwich, but still did! The cakes were poor standard. Overall, considering how lovely the museum is, the lunch was hugely disappointing and we don't recommend it.

Had looked forward to visiting Tiptree jam factory as we like thier jams.
Thought we would have coffee on arrival as it was almost 11.30.
Be warned-the cafe is very expensive.
3 coffees-(VERY STRONG) and almost undrinkable and 3 mediocre scones with teen weeny pot of jam came to almost £20.00.
Saw other plates of food being served to customers and it looked good though we didnt take much notice of prices for lunch.
Shop was a bit uninspiring as well.
Glad we went but would not go back.
