“Perfection”
Reviewed 16 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

For those thinking of travelling to the Cotswolds, Bourton-on-the-Water is the ideal location to explore the area and Pear Tree Cottage is truly exceptional. All the reviews are absolutely correct. The location of the cottage is fabulous, the interior is stunning (the photos really don't do it justice). The only regret we did have was not staying longer. And, seriously, watch your head. We loved it.

“Superb location”
Reviewed 12 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Lovely cottage, very clean and comfortable. The wifi was very good and included in the price. Mobile signal in most parts of the cottage was weak. Super location - approx. 120 metres from the main thoroughfare and the river. There were lots of shops, cafes, restaurants and places of interest within easy walking distance. We absolutely loved staying at Peartree Cottage and can't recommend it highly enough.

“Cotswold charm and a well presented cottage”
Reviewed 20 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

The cottage was just as advertised. Super layout, lovely rooms with plenty of seating. Beds were comfy and with good bedding. Sky tv and log stove with lovely furnishings all added to a great stay.
There welcome selection of essentials such as coffee, tea and plenty of herbs and spices in the cupboards. The cottage is well located right on the doorstep of Bourton amenities. We had evening meals at a few restaurants and a local takeaway. The kitchen at the cottage was well equipped with modern appliances and led to a lovely small garden, We were able to park right outside without problem. It's a great location to explore the Cotswolds with plenty of walks too, it's not too far a walk to the Slaughters. If you are after a genuine old cottage in the middle of the pretty village of Bourton then this is the one I'd recommend - although very tall people may bang their head! We used brightly coloured post it notes to highlight the steps and low beams!
It's worth noting that the top floor twin beds were hard to get to if elderly or infirm as the winding steps were steep. But once up there there is a dedicated small bathroom and dressing area,
Hope to stay again one day.

“cosy cottage full of character”
Reviewed 10 January 2016 for a stay in December 2015

I have stayed twice in this beautiful cottage and found it perfect as a base for exploring the area. The cottage is well equipped, spotlessly clean, comfortable, homely and I would certainly recommend to anyone thinking of staying in Bourton,The sitting room is extremely spacious with a variety of comfortable seating for 6 guests to enjoy, on both visits it was winter time and the log fire is lovely but the heating also keeps the cottage very warm. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms are lovely with extremely comfortable beds. I will hopeful return soon
