Our Rambling group stayed at Harrington House.
The rooms were comfortable, some had showers, some baths, some a bath with a shower. Many liked the fact that a bath was at the end of the corridor. After a day out walking a few enjoyed dipping into that bath. The showers had enough power for a good force of water.
Entering the building, the ambience is very pleasing, carpets are thick and cushion noise. The communal areas are ideal for relaxation. Internet is easily accessible.
The service from staff is fantastic. Dinner, and Breakfast are both served by smiling helpful staff. The Bar is manned well. The food was fantastic, picnic lunch amazing.
Boot room is very orderly, and comfortable for use, washer and dryer are in here.
The grounds provide great relation and seating areas. The house is so close to the centre it is easy to join the crowd or escape to the peace of the lawn or house.
Definitely worth another visit.
