“Lovely cottage”
Reviewed 16 December 2017 for a stay in December 2017

We had a great stay in this lovely cottage. It’s old with tons of character in a great location just round the corner from everything. It was nice and clean and has all you need. Nice log burner too. Bourton is beautiful with ample pubs and cafes. All in all a really nice place to stay.

“Beautiful cottage!”

Chapel Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. We wanted a base which was central and comfortable but what we actually got was so much more. When we first arrived we couldn't wait to get the fire on and when we did the whole living room took on a cosy feel! We ended up staying in on our first night and dragging ourselves away from the fire on the second.
The cottage is right at one end of Bourton on the Water - it is literally a minute away from the village. All you need is on your doorstep.
We were welcomed with a cake and all the basic essentials- tea & coffee etc. Oh and logs for the fire! The cottage oozes character- watch your head on the low ceilings! We will definitely be back.

“Perfect spot to explore this lovely area”
Reviewed 14 November 2017 for a stay in November 2017

Great cottage just off the high street. Well appointed inside and out. Loved the decor. Could be a bit noisy at night with the traffic as ol type windows. Not that this bothered us too much. Loved having the wood burner. Thought the decor was lovely too and the chocolate cake left for us!! Did not use any of the appliances other than the kettle and toaster as ate out mostly. But everything there you needed. Even for the dog. Would visit again. Thank you.

“A lovely autumn break”
Reviewed 21 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

Loved this cottage, it was so pretty and well positioned in the centre of the village and would definitely go again and recommend it.
Just a couple of small issues, the parking, we were ok as is wasn't too busy in October but in the summer months it would be very difficult to find parking. also it says dog friendly but once you get there the notes say not upstairs or on the furntiure which is fine with us but just something to bear in mind. we found a fire guard which we could use to stop our dog going upstairs. As I say this was only a couple of small things and we had a very enjoyable few nights here. Thank you.

“Beautiful cottage in the heart of Bourton on the Water”

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend away at the beautiful and historical Chapel Cottage. It was a delightful property, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was really well equipped with everything you need for a weekend away. We went with our two children (5 and 7) and they had a great time exploring the 'secret' room up in the attic, giving us grown ups a chance to unwind with a glass of wine in the sunny courtyard garden. We found free parking down a lane opposite the property which was ideal. The cottage is right in the centre of town and we could walk to all the local pubs, cafes and tourist attractions. I can really recommend a visit to the Maze with the kids! We will be back to Chapel Cottage soon.

This cottage is ideal for a stay to visit the local area. Beautiful cottage inside and out and close to anything you need. I even managed to get my hair done! Really good restaurants, friendly people and stunning area.

Cannot wait to come back...we went here for our mini honeymoon and would not have changed a single thing.
