The Lawns Bed & Breakfast
Reviewed 19 November 2013

We have just returned home from a lovely relaxing stay at this most cosy b and b!
Lovely rooms, comfy bed, great views and delicious breakfast! I would happily stay there again.
Short walk into the village, where there are several places to eat, we loved the Italian restaurant.

We have just got back after spending the weekend here in November and Tony and Angela are extremely friendly and cannot do enough for you.

The breakfast is first class and it is truly a quintessential British B&B can't rate this enough.

Ideally located within walking distance of key attractions in the area such as Birdland and Model Village. As well as being extremely quiet.

Ange and Tony were wonderful hosts for a very comfortable two night stay. Our room was very spacious with a sitting area included. Breakfasts were fantastic - including fresh fruit from their garden. Location was great - slightly away from town so nice and quiet, a short walk in. Loved to hear the sheep behind us in the morning (not too early!) Highly recommended.

We had the most pleasant stay. The owners were extremely kind and friendly. The rooms were perfect for our family of 4. Breakfast was delicious! Everything was spotless. Angie, our hostess, was very helpful. We were planning on staying only one night but decided to stay two. The location was perfect, only a 10 minute walk from a lovely village where we were able to have a nice dinner.
Thank you, Angie!!!

We have never stayed at a bed and breakfast/hotel or any other accomodation that has such friendly owners. This is the reason in our opinion that The Lawns is a winner. Not only were they exeptionaly friendly but offered clear and accurate descriptions of the surrounding area. As it is some 25 years since we visited the cotswolds we found this brilliant. They pointed us in the direction of a very well run resteraunt with excellent food for our wedding anniversary celebration. We will definatly be looking to book this accomodation again when in this area. The room was warm comfortable spacious and clean. Most of all we felt relaxed around the hosts. Tony and Angie have a new 'very special baby grandson' Good luck your cheerfulness shone through and guests would never know whats going on in the background . You made us and the other guests your priority. Oh and last of all what brilliant food i can't poach an egg but boy Tony can make the perfect ones. Thanks Pam and Ken Clowes

Room Tip: All rooms seemed to be similiar so we don't thnk it matters which one you stay in.
