We decided to take a last minute short break to explore the Cotswolds and booked Jasons Garden Apartment based on the excellent TripAdvisor reviews provided by other guests....and we were not disappointed !
Communication with Martin and Mary (the owners) was first class despite them being abroad on holiday at the time of the booking and their son Mark was on hand to greet us on our arrival.
The apartment was actually much larger than it appears in the pictures on TripAdvisor and it really did feel like a home from home with everything provided that you are ever likely to need in a self catering property ....there was even a lovely breakfast welcome pack (tea, coffee, milk, butter, crumpets and cereals etc) which was a really nice touch.
The Halfway House pub is literally a two minute walk from the apartment and serves great food and beer - not to mention the wonderful music/singing performed by the locals including Martin and Mary which we were fortunate enough to witness (once a month only) !!
Large Tesco's superstore is located in Stow-On-The-Wold which is approximately a 15 minute car journey from the apartment. The property is perfectly situated to explore numerous National Trust properties, beautiful villages and Adam Henson's Farm Park.
Thank you Martin and Mary for a wonderful break and we hope to stay in your property in St.Ives, Cornwall sometime soon.

Good clean, comfortable accommodation for two. Well equipped, plenty of hot water, quiet secluded outside seating.
Well placed for all the villages in northern end of the Cotswolds, and also further afield to Oxford, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and even Stratford-upon-Avon.
The Halfway House across the road is great for either a quick drink or an informal meal.
This apartment is tucked away in the tranquil Cotswold village of Kineton. We enjoyed our four days there and were very impressed with the property and its amenities. The breakfast welcome pack was very much appreciated. It is ideally located for taking in many of the nearby villages and towns. We visited Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold, Broadway and Cheltenham - and the scenery travelling between each of these places is amazing. The local pub, The Halfway House, offers a good selection for evening meals and the owners made us feel most welcome. Unfortunately, we did not get to meet Mary and Martin, the owners, as they themselves were away. In their absence their son, Mark, met us and showed us around the property. He was an excellent ambassador for his parents and helped us with some local information. We would have no hesitation in recommending this location for your Cotswold holiday and will be returning.
Everything positive that has been said here about Jasons garden apartment is correct. What is missing is any mention of the magic that goes with this place. Within 30 minutes or less, you can be part of any of the primary popular tourist places, Moreton in the Marsh, Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold, Sudeley Castle. But you can, without moving more than a few hundred yards, be deeply immersed in some of the most sublime countryside in Britain or enjoying a blissful pint at one of the most welcoming gastro-pubs, the Halfway House. But you may never want to leave your own private garden, filled most of the day ith bird song. Or, at the end of a wonderful Cotswold day sink into one of the most comfortable beds anywhere – and that’s from someone who is a fussy sleeper. Go, enjoy and give my regards to the “only there when you want them” hosts, Martin and Mary. Bon voyage!
Tucked away in the tiny village of Kineton in Gloucestershire is a very comfortable self-catering apartment with everything you need to make your visit to the Cotswolds enjoyable. Friendly hosts, a superb pub just down the road and the most comfortable bed ever! If you want to be near enough to visit touristy places like Bourton-on-the-Water or Moreton-on-the-Marsh but want some peace and quiet at other times then this is the place. You'll need a car with a Sat-Nav to find it.
This was our first AirBnB type experienceand I can only hope the rest will be half as good. What made it great rather than good was the hosts. They thought of everything even a warm, freshly baked loaf on arrival, and were always helpful and friendly. The accommodation was lovely and spacious and private, and a good base for exploring the Cotswolds, a gorgeous unspoilt part of the country. We were very happy here and very happy to recommend it to others
