Myself & my husband, have done this several times, and loved it. The Host, Edward Charnel, is an absolute gentleman, with a warped sense of humour, but he knows his stuff....
He is more than happy to answer questions and his delivery and costume make for a very entertaining hour or so. Not for the faint hearted, as there is quite a walk.
Edward makes the walk fun and educational, so if you have kids that like history with a splash of gore, then this is for you.
We will be going again, as soon as we get the time.

We have been on this tour 3 times now and intend to go again when we go to Bourton on the Water this summer. Excellent tour. Edward is a fantastic tour guide with lots of scary stories and extremely interesting stories to share. We loved the way he dressed and he was completely in character. Worth going along. You will have a great time.

This wonderful museum housed in the village "Old Mill " central to this Cotswold village's shops, hotel, public beer hostelries !! Pubs. The museum was once owned by a private collector of most things with wheels, Now the C.S.M.A. owns and runs the museum containing numerous 1920s to 50s road cars eg: Jaguar xk120, Riley Drophead sports a rare car once used in South Africa, Austins, many others a Brough SS80 motor cycle and a Ferguson T20, toys of yesteryear too, + the childrens favourite T.V. car " BRUM " Dinkey toys for sale and lots more. IF you are from the U.S.A. this is a shop window of Englands motoring past, a must for all the family. Where ? in Gloucestershire England.

We spent an enjoyable 2 hours at Halloween on this tour. A couple with two teenagers, I am a bit of a scardy cat , but do enjoy a good ghost story. This was very informative, and not at all scary, which suited us just fine. Plenty of history of the village , including ghosts, murders, and snakes. We would never have known about half of the things pointed out otherwise , and are still discussing what we would do if we owned the tea room overlooking the river! Thank you for an enjoyable evening.

It was not a gory as the title lends you to believe, so if you are expecting a ghost tour then you may be a tad disappointed. The walking tour takes you all around Bourton, giving snippets of tales from long ago, some ghost stories, some interesting information for you to ponder. If the evening is pleasant, it is nice to take a stroll and learn more about the village and it previous inhabitants and the guy is certainly quirky!
