“Brilliant all rounder!”
Reviewed 4 May 2014

My girlfriend and I stayed here a few months ago and had a great weekend. Upon arrival we were greeted by Marco in the car park and he showed us in and showed us to our room. The location of the hotel was great and a walk by the water to the centre was a pleasure- even in the rain! The guest house itself was immaculate- very clean and well maintained. The room itself was modern and had solid good quality furniture. Breakfast was great too- local and fresh! Recommend to anyone and are planning our return!!

My mum and I arrived at The Broadlands Guest House on Saturday 26th April to a very warm welcome from Marco, it was like being greeted by an old friend. We chose to stay in the suite, which I can highly recommend, it can either be a double or twin bedroom. The suite is fabulous; I have included pictures as the ones on the website don't do it enough justice. There is a light spacious lounge area with tv and dvd player, a small kitchen area (with tea / coffee making facilities, sink and fridge), a bathroom and lovely bedroom. We felt very at home and the space rather than just having one room was brilliant! The location of The Broadlands couldn't be better, 2 minutes walk to the centre of beautiful Bourton-on-the-water. Marco does a wonderful breakfast, perfectly cooked and plenty of choice. If you are thinking of going to the Cotswolds take my advice and stay at The Broadlands Guest House, you won't regret it.

Room Tip: The suite is amazing!

stayed for our 45th anniversary weekend and were looked after very well. Room very clean and a big comfy king size bed. The tea/coffee facilities in the room were really plentiful (all others we have stayed in only left about 4 milks, there were always a dozen here!) The manager, Marco and his staff worked really hard to ensure everything was done for our stay to be enjoyed and to give us a really delicious hearty breakfast. We walked the beautiful surrounding areas easily as the guest house is central to the village amenities and paths to nearby villages. Look forward to going back again in the future.

Marco is a great host with a B & B in a great location.
We came for two nights and stayed for three, very comfortable accommodation.
If you are staying in the Cotswolds this is the place, Bourton-on-the-water is beautiful and central to many other great locations, ask the other guests for recommendations.

I contacted Marco to enquire about booking rooms for our annual family get-together in March, around 20 adults and children, some for 2 nights, some for only 1. Even though he was at that time on holiday in Cyprus he emailed me back the same day with his rates and the booking was made before he returned. Such a good choice both for the quality of the accommodation & service, and for the facilities and attractions of the town. There was plenty of parking, the breakfasts were brilliant, the rooms were warm and comfortable and the shops, museums, pubs and restaurants were just a short walk away. We would certainly stay there again if we were in the area on holiday. Well recommended!!

Room Tip: We had one of the upstairs suites in the annexe, loads of space and very comfortable
