Gorgeous house. We stayed in a group of 6 adults and 3 children aged 1, 2 and 6. The enclosed garden was perfect for the children to run around in and the 6 year old and adults loved the games room. One of the table tennis bats broke during our stay and we reported it straight away and we were sent a new set in the post next day delivery. Excellent service!
The house was clean and had everything we needed. The arrival basket was well received too with essentials to start us off. The only slightly negative thing always that some of the outdoor chairs were falling to bits but we made do bringing the indoor chairs outside to sit on instead.
We enjoyed trips to the Cotswolds wildlife park (short drive away) and the dragonfly maze (which is in Bourton on the water). On one of the days we walked to the nearby village of Lower Slaughter and had a pub lunch there which was lovely. You can easily spend a whole day wandering around Bourton on the Water too.
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!! Happy customers!
My close family(aged from 5 months to 82 years of age) came to stay for a long weekend to chill out. It was perfect and ticked all our boxes for a comfortable and relaxing weekend. The star of the house is the fabulous kitchen dining room where we could prepare, cook and socialise all in one room. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed the pretty garden and could walk into the village where there was a football match going on in the River Windrush. The younger members of the family enjoyed playing table tennis in the large garage. Thankyou to our super host!
12 adults plus 1 20 month old child spent all or part of a week here to celebrate my 80th birthday with my extended family. The house was most impressive but comfortable. Everything we needed was supplied including a lovely welcome hamper.
A large well kept and secure garden was appreciated in the lovely weather we enjoyed although books, games,DVD players were available had the weather been less clement.
The village was in easy walking distance with many places to eat and drink and a local grocery store. The model village is well worth a visit and the younger members thoroughly enjoyed a visit to the Cotswoid Wildlife Park
Excellent location with a short walk into the centre of Bourton. We stayed for NYE for three days and Nethercote House was perfect for us. Lots of space for our party of 6 adults and 8 children. Kids loved the games room with a table tennis table and the house is awesome for hind and seek!
