This house would be acceptable if it was in the villilag but unfortunately it is on the main road outside the village which is horrendously busy. Walking into Bourton-on-the-Water felt like taking our life in our hands as cars and lorries zoom passed its like walking down the side of a motorway.
I appreciate that it is where it is but as the house is single glazed the traffic can also be heard inside.
the house was very comfortable with an easy walk to the village .the roads were a little noisy.
very well priced for the area.
Excellent half term holiday in delightful cottage. Plenty of room for 6 of us.Good size private garden. So nice to find milk, tea, coffee ,sugar and biscuits all provided on our arrival. Short, easy walk into centre of Bourton and many beautiful walks close by. Will be returning to this cottage.
We spent a very comfortable and relaxing February half term here. The owner responded very quickly and helpfully to our questions and clearly prides herself on the presentation of her property (cleanliness, decoration and keeping the equipment up to date). Comfortable beds along with the ready supply of towels, bedding and logs for the woodburner were a real plus. The downstairs bedroom and shower room were ideal for my elderly mother. We highly recommend a visit!
Great stay v close to burton on the water.v good places to eat. Cottage v clean and roomey with everything u need. Will b back.
Another fabulous stay! Stayed with toddler and baby and the cottage is very well equipped to suit all our needs! Toddler had a great time exploring the garden which is really well fenced off.
Only a stone's throw away from Bourton itself and then in a great location to travel further afar.
Credit to the owners they really know how to put that personal touch on things we were again welcomed with a 2 pinter of milk plus all tea/coffee/sugar etc for that much needed coffee!
I'm certain we will be making use of this lovely cottage again!
