Stayed here for a night out in Cheltenham and pleased from the moment we got here to the very second we left. The room was very clean big and soft bed, bathroom was very clean. The staff was perfect . the only jibe I have is we had the ground floor by the main entrance and heard the Saturday night piss heads return lol. The morning brekky was soooo good . best English I've had in a long time. Oh and free parking is always a plus for me and short walk to town. The blond girl and chef on sunday morning get a10\10 Thankyou

We stay in lots of hotels and I must say this hotel tops the lot! Our room was well equipped with a very comfortable bed, made with fresh cotton linen. The hotel is very comfortable and spotless. The chef who I understand has been resident for four or more years is superb with attention to detail and uses fresh local produce. The landlord is very jolly/informative and accommodating...with the objective of the hotel residents feeling like they are at home. Which ever time of day or evening we were welcomed with an open fire, comfy sofas and a well stocked bar. The location is superb, just across the road from trendy and traditional pubs/restaurants. Well done to Team Willoughby :)

We needed a hotel with easy access to the Hospital over a period of a week. We never envisaged finding such a superb solution - ultra comfortable, very friendly and flexible regarding our needs, easy access to both the hospital, plus a wide choice of eateries. The only danger: so many tempting shops within an easy walk!

Room Tip: Not tried, but they have a room named Adelaide to commemorate some visits of King Wm IV's wife a...

We stayed at the Willoughby for one night in a wonderful period suite with a four poster bed. The hotel is in a Georgian building typical of Cheltenham and close to the trendy Montpellier area. Lots of lovely shops, restaurants etc. on the doorstep. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good too.

we stayed in the willoughby for 2 nights, the first night they put us (family of 4) in the basement apartment which was fully furnished, that was a saturday evening and we couldn't find a table so we decided to cook, the kitchen was well equipped with everything we need (the only thing we borrowed was a wine opener), we did all our laundries too. The only not so good things came from the bathroom, it was hard to flush (it was because of the design of an old building and they explained it), hot water was weak, and there was no heating.
The second night we changed to the willoughby suite which was absolutely fabulous, high ceiling, fireplace, antique furnitures and everything. The bathroom was excellent and everything came right!
The service was also excellent, everyone's so helpful and nice, excellent breakfast in a classic dining room. it was not cheap but worthed every penny.
