Description: Excellent family run Bistro and Delicatessen shop. Nothing is too much trouble. We tried the mid-week steak and wine promotion - expecations were over eceeded. Chef / owner Richard cooked all to our taste. can only recommend it. Atmosphere not so romantic, but relaxed and functional- bistro style

In town and decided to grab a bite, nothing special intended, just felt hungry so went into Prezzo first. Nobody in sight, waited a few minutes standing around in the middle of the restaurant for a member of staff to appear and left. Went to Pizza Express. Greeted with 'have you booked' (it was 5.30 for heavens sake) and no further welcome or comment the lady then went off 'to see'. Waited a (short) while and left. Don't these folk realise how many places there are to eat in Cheltenham! Remembered seeing Red Pepper so went round there. Friendly welcome, the boss did ask if we'd booked but was very happy to find us a table. Wonderful staff, great service and lovely food - and good value too. We will defiantly be back, an independent business which cares and we had an immediate comparison to the attitude of two of the big chains. Red Pepper deserves your custom folks, it serves good food and has lovely staff. Give it a go if you haven't found it already!

The Pre Theatre menu gave both of us ample choice. The starters were excellent and the main course equally good. The staff were very friendly and efficient. They accommodated our request for a leisurely meal and as a result we had a very pleasant 90 minutes before we left for the theatre. Will we eat here again the next time we're at the Everyman? Yes we will.

The "Clwyd Theatr Cymru" production of Under Milk Wood was brilliant, so all in all we had a great night out.

We happened upon Red Pepper as we were wandering Cheltenham looking for somewhere to get breakfast, and what a fabulous find.

The waitress couldn't do enough to help us, and the food was gloriously fresh and scrumptious, and very well priced also. We eat breakfast out a lot and this was definitely top quality.

I had the scrambled eggs with my English Breakfast and they were a real treat, creamy and fluffy, well worth the supplement. The bacon was well cooked and my husband said his sausages were incredibly tasty. Even the toast was perfect, golden brown not pasty or burnt.

The caramel latte was gorgeous too.

A lovely cosy comfortable little place that serves really good quality food. Young staff are enthusiastic and professional. Not a huge menu, I prefer that as you know it's all fresh. Good quality ingredients. The wine is good too. Would recommend this to anyone.
