We stayed here last weekend and everything about this place is great. We only booked the small double room as we were not in it for very long but will be booking again and will upgrade to a theme room as a treat. The staff are fantastic and breakfast great to.It must be good if Alex Fergason has stayed here !

The Beaumont House is undeniably a very good boutique hotel but it is not without flaws. It is surprising that in this day and age that it does not have a disabled access, I had to help an an aged lady struggle to both climb and descend the stone steps that led to the front door, the steps did not even have anti-slip edging, although they were exposed to the elements. The hotel is otherwise well presented, the bedrooms well decorated and equipped, but the lack of heating in the bathroom made bathing and showering a challenge on cold mornings. The bed was comfortable, but the incompressible material in the pillows left me with a numb ear in the morning.
The care and attention from the staff was exemplary, they prepared a cream tea for my wife and I at very short notice, and the quality and value was exceptional.

Room Tip: The 16 rooms are spread over 3 floors but no lift

Had a wonderful, long weekend stay thanks to the friendly attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The bed was so comfortable, we struggled to leave it but the effort was worth it for the excellent choice of breakfasts! The complimentary, freshly ground coffee available in the conservatory was a really nice touch and the drinks in the lounge were on an honesty basis and reasonably priced. We would recommend the Beaumont House and will certainly stay again.

We couldn't be more pleased with Beaumont House.

As soon as we entered, we were greeted by smiling faces. They gladly checked us in and told us where to find breakfast and that there was complimentary coffee, tea and cookies available all day/night. They even gave us advice on where to eat dinner in the area. We didn't need them to carry our luggage, but they insisted and our room was beautiful. They even gave us fruit, chocolate and complimentary bottles of water. The bed was oh so comfortable and enormous. The decor captivated us with all the woodwork in the bed frame, the desk, the chair, and just the whole theme put together so nicely -- the paintings, the tiles on the wall, the cloth wrapped around the top of the bed - the nice huge bath with bath salts and whirlpool bubbles -- what more could you ask for? But wait! The breakfast included was absolutely filling and the ingredients fresh and cooked with care. Everyone was so kind and the place was immaculate. I want to come back again soon! Lovely place. Lovely staff. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Stayed for 2 nights in the out of Africa room. Absolutely perfect. Room had everything you could possible need and was spotless. Bed was so comfy. Whirlpool bath was great. Little touches like fruit, chocolates and handwritten welcome note were brilliant. Staff were friendly, efficient and nothing too much trouble
