The Kemble is a hidden gem. Both adults and kids enjoyed a great value Sunday lunch with friendly service (I requested extra Yorkshires and gravy which was no problem) and made to feel very welcome. Good range of beers and ciders, all reasonably priced, and friendly clientele.

Called in the Kemble after reading reviews on Tripadvisor. We headed there for Sunday lunch and were so pleased that we did. The lunch was very good, the beers were perfect and the welcome exceptional. A real local pub and not for those who want to visit some boring chain !!!

There should be a Pub category, as per review by MigWrkr.

Get in for the recently introduced Pie and Mash on a Friday.

This is a pub for beer lovers, (with a bit of cider for those of the other persuasion).

The wit, banter and repartee come free of charge. Give as good as you get and you'll fit in nicely.
