The Bradley is a delightful family run b&b with 5* service. Really well placed close to town in walking distance to some fantastic restaurants. A grand building with excellent rooms and amenities, but yet cosy and relaxed. Would thoroughly recommend. If you enjoy a hearty breakfast with a constant refill of tea/coffee then you won't be disappointed.

This is a very good place to stay. We had a nice room with very comfortable double bed. The bathroom is like a "pod" within the room since its wall does not reach the ceiling, which is good since the room is so high. But the bathroom was very nice. Soaps/shampoo are Penhaligon which is high quality and v. expensive I understand. The shower seemed to flood the floor as water found its way easily past or under the shower screen, but we mopped up with towels. All usual needs within the room, inc bottled water, tea/coffee/fresh milk.
The breakfast was of very high quality - cereals/yoghurt/fresh fruit/manuka honey (!!) followed by one of the best cooked breakfasts I have been served. Only Sharrow Bay's breakfast has bettered the full English I can recall. Superb meats, mushrooms and moist, crumbly, flavoursome black pudding (and we come from Bury, the home of the BP).
Parking is awkward given the space available off road, but one can usually find a place on the street and the hotel provides a free permit for your car for the duration of your stay.
Is it worth £100+ or even more for a night? Yes, that's just about right, because it's central Cheltenham, and its lovely and quiet. You could pay the same for other large hotels but then at a weekend you might find that most of the other guests would be there for a large wedding. The calm at the Bradley is lovely.

We used to live in Cheltenham and for a special occasion wanted to spend the night there again. We chose the Bradley as it is nicely located, a picture-perfect-period-property and had received such nice reviews!
Ours was the most expensive room and - according to Mrs B - worth every penny. Opulent, characterful and welcoming describes the room, the property and - the latter two - the hosts.
Breakfast was sumptuous and a world away from your chain/branded fayre.

It's a lovely B&B not a hotel: no pool, no gym, no inattentive staff, no feeling of being processed. So much better than giving your money to a corporation...

We also went for an indulgent foodie-heaven lunch at Le Champignon Sauvage which is sublime.

Room Tip: Room 4 has the full period feel, complete with 4 poster bed and high-altitude ceilings. The bathroom...

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome with the owners giving a brief history of the Bradley and as this was our first visit to Cheltenham explained to us the local attractions.Downstairs is fantastically furnished. Our room no6 was immaculate with the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in.Breakfast again was superb and nothing was too much for the oweners. Will definetly be returning.Compared to other hotels we have stayed in at £120 per night the Bradley surpasses them all

This was our second stay in the lovely Bradley. The owners give 100% effort to ensure that your stay at The Bradley is a pleasant one. Rooms are all indivdually decorated to a high standard. Small fridges placed on the landings allow you to use fresh milk in your tea or coffee, rather than those awful UHT packets. Breakfast is lovely and served in a beautiuful room full of original features. The Bradley is right in the heart of the Montpelier area of Cheltenham and close to bars, restaurants and shops. We have already re-booked for next year. Forget the other more famous and overrated hotels in Cheltenham and go to The Bradley.

Room Tip: This is a converted Georgian house so some rooms are up several flights of stairs. However room 8 at...

Stayed for a Family birthday The owners were superb, anything we wanted they provided we stayed in a room with a four poster bed and a huge bathroom . Very clean and well decorated with everything you could need including a fan to cool the room on what was a warm day. Very close to the centre of town with a parking disc provided by The Bradley to park outside on the road with no restrictions The breakfast was of the highest standard with a good choice .

I arrived late on a weekday evening but the owners were still around to greet me. I was changed to a different room as the room I booked into had a problematic toilet, but that wasn't a problem as the room I stayed in (No. 2) was lovely. It had a terrace as well but I didn't stay long enough to be able to enjoy it! The B&B is clearly done up to a very high standard and it made my stay, albeit short, very comfortable.

Breakfast was lovely, with great selection of hot and cold food.

Great area and I felt safe walking in the evening by myself. Close to restaurants and theatres.
