“Standards slipping”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 August 2014

My sister and I used to come here every time I visited as it was good quality and value for money. Over the past year though the standards have really slipped and our last visit was the worst yet. There was limited food out and half of it was cold. Essentially we paid for a plate of food, not all you can eat.

“Value for money”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 August 2014

All you can eat, buffet style, for £11.95 if you are an adult and £5.95 if you are a child under 140 centimetres tall. Soft drinks are bought as a refillable glass. Wines and spirits at reasonable pub prices.
A Chinese restaurant with more than a dash of Japan. Start with sushi. Then there is a range of ready cooked starters, mostly chicken or prawn with vegetables (and chips for the cautious!). But the best option is the teppanyaki. Good beef or chicken or prawns and vegetables cooked as you wait by the chef and very tasty. I have marked the restaurant down a bit because the place was not spotlessly clean, especially the lavatories. And the clientele would probably not be found in a three star Michelin restaurant. But definitely value for money.

“Has gone down hill !”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 July 2014

Have been coming here on and off since the real china opened have to admit less over the years . We were going to the bar and wok but was not opened 6pm before we went to the cinema .
The place is large and you can tell not as busy so less choice , seems in a downward spiral
Uninterested staff , leaving the buffet sparse and some dishes with only a few pieces of food on , who wants the last piece !
Puddings bizarre larger choice than before but all bland including viscount biscuits with cream on,topped with a wine gum ???
Not that pricey , eat what you want . But I will not be !!!

“Annoyed”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 July 2014

A bit pricey! We get out seats and there is absolutely no food up on the buffet. I ended up eating 1 plate that barely had food on it, and some jell-o for dessert. I was so upset that we got ripped off for one and the food wasn't that good. I will never go back.

“Another good meal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 June 2014

Yet another nice meal there was plenty of choice and it was excellent value for money I would recommend going at lunch time as it is only 5.95 and there is a good choice of mains ans deserts.
