Owner description: Prescott Hill Climb, based just outside of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, is home to one of the world's most prestigious motor racing venues. Set in 60 acres of glorious Cotswold countryside, the estate not only provides a beautiful setting for a range of classic car and bike weekends, but also hosts major motor racing championships. The Bugatti Owners Club was established in 1929 for all motoring enthusiasts regardless of what type of vehicle you drive. The Club is based at Prescott and purchased the estate in 1937, converting the muddy, rutted drive into a speed hiil climb in time for the opening rally in April 1938. The 1127 yard course rises over 200 feet via short straights, fast and slow corners and a breathtaking hairpin, with the fastest modern racing cars completing the course in an exciting 36 seconds. The action can be viewed from strategic points along the course as well as from the restaurant terrace. Visitors and competitors alike can enjoy an exhilarating days racing plus vintage cavalcades up the Hill. Whether you are a competitor, a car or bike enthusiast or someone who just likes a day out in beautiful surroundings Prescott is the place for you.

... love going to the Prescott Hill Climb. I was dragged there by my husband under duress the first time but it's a great day out. The views alone are stunning if you're lucky enough to get a sunny day.

I organised for a small group of friends to spend the day here a couple of weekends ago. Admittedly we were blessed with amazing weather, but even so the day was good fun. It's got a lovely relaxed atmosphere a real family vibe, but as a group of thirtysomethings we also felt totally at ease. It's a thoroughly pleasant experience as there aren't long queues for the icecreams, loos or bar, and there were a nice array of food options. It was fab to get so up close to the cars, and I can echo previous reviewers comments on the friendliness off the owners. It was so good we've genuinely already organised a larger group of friends to go to the next meeting.

What a lovely place! The reception was well planned and catering excellent. The seating was comfortable and on the enclosed balcony, we had breathtaking views on all sides. the food was plentiful and very tasty. I would strongly recommend this as a wedding venue with a difference.

A great place to get up close and personal to the cars and drivers; well worth a visit. Plenty of parking and good views plus you can walk all around the track, a bit hilly as it is a hill climb course. Even better on a sunny day but good at any time.

I had a rare outing on my own and really enjoyed the fab cars, the owners were happy to talk about their vehicles and there was a jolly carnival atmosphere. I am not a 100% car enthusiast but I like to experience different things and must say that this was a civilised and well organised event.
