Owner description: Prescott Hill Climb, based just outside of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, is home to one of the world's most prestigious motor racing venues. Set in 60 acres of glorious Cotswold countryside, the estate not only provides a beautiful setting for a range of classic car and bike weekends, but also hosts major motor racing championships. The Bugatti Owners Club was established in 1929 for all motoring enthusiasts regardless of what type of vehicle you drive. The Club is based at Prescott and purchased the estate in 1937, converting the muddy, rutted drive into a speed hiil climb in time for the opening rally in April 1938. The 1127 yard course rises over 200 feet via short straights, fast and slow corners and a breathtaking hairpin, with the fastest modern racing cars completing the course in an exciting 36 seconds. The action can be viewed from strategic points along the course as well as from the restaurant terrace. Visitors and competitors alike can enjoy an exhilarating days racing plus vintage cavalcades up the Hill. Whether you are a competitor, a car or bike enthusiast or someone who just likes a day out in beautiful surroundings Prescott is the place for you.

If you have not been to a hillclimb or have not visited Prescott give it a try.The setting,on the edge of the north cotswolds is superb the views are magnificent and the cars and competitions are even better. You can now watch proceedings from the lovely restaurant or on its outside terrace. The food is good and reasonably priced with meals served from breakfast to evening. The track itself offers some of the most technically challenging driving for competitors and provides some very exciting viewing from the public areas with a good number of seats available at various points around the track.Give it a visit you will enjoy it.

Did not actually attend a meeting or organised event here, however I did attend my sister's Wedding Breakfast here. What a fabulous venue. Weather was wonderful and the views from the function room were amazing. Hospitality, food and overall experience was top notch. Very well organised and Kieran (The Venue Manager) looked after us extremely well. Special thanks to him for being so helpful. Truly was a wonderful day.

When it is warm and the sun is shinning this is probably my favourite day out - I am a regular visitor. Another reviewer mentioned is is such a far cry from the corporate motorsport days, the pits are amongst the trees behind the start line and you can walk around freely and chat to the competitors, free access everywhere, picnic on the hill with a great view of the cars. If you want to drive the hill they hold the Prescott Revival every year where you can, the Marcos Owners Club organise it, I am booked in for August for the second year running! Even if you are not a petrol head you must go at least once, especially if you are local.

Longton Motor Club has a long and distinguished history in the North West of England but this time they spread their wings and took on runnig Prescot.
The event ran like clockwork with the start line crew keeping the whole event running smoothly and efficiently. The team managed to run both practice and timned runs for the two events at a cracking pace and many new entrants took to the hill for the first time.
Splendid venue and superb organisation!
