Description: Lunch at the Exmouth Arms. Delicious King Prawns in garlic butter with crusty bread and butter with a shared portion of chips - delicious for a quick and tasy lunchtime snack. A crisp glass of white wine served at just the right temperature. Excellent. A good pub with food which has a large garden which we were unable to use as we are in the middle of the wettest drought ever. Interestingly this pub shows films every couple of weeks or so. Entry is £1 which incluldes your popcorn. The next film to show is the Woman with the dragon tattoo and after that Wuthering Heights so a complete eclectic choice.

We've had drinks at the Exmouth Arms numerous times, but this was the first time we have eaten.
And what a great lunch we had! The staff is extremely helpful, but also very knowledgeable about the food (ingredients, etc). There are plenty choices for vegetarians, too.
Exmouth Arms is an inviting place, with is a sense of community and frequent events. It is family friendly and offers a warm atmosphere.
One of the best beer gardens in town, too!

I went to the Exmouth many years ago and it was a pub filled with locals with no character. My partner and myself were in the Bath road area last week and decided we would have some lunch, preferably outdoors. Morans was packed so we walked a little further down and went into the Exmouth. good decor friendly staff good choice of lagers ales and wines. ordered food, was told there could be an hour wait!!! This to me is unacceptable anywhere, although this was the only thing we had a problem with. burger good, gougons great! salmon salad nice and some lovely cheesy wedges. Not overly expensive either.

The beer is great. The simple but tasty food is also great. The atmosphere is great. The staff are friendly and also quite great. The cocktails are also great and after a few you are feeling er......great Also great , is the beer garden as long as the weather is great, The Sunday roasts are great and the general décor is ,yes you've guessed it....great !

But what I really dig is the Uke club . Hundred's turn up to churn out uke GREATNESS

Thinks it is the jewel in the crown of Bath Road. But expensive food and expensive drink. No character at all. If you are eating then a good garden for the kids may just be worth the cost. If you just want a drink in an atmospheric pub then any other on Bath Road is to be preferred. Oh, and the staff are offhand and rude.

Recommended to us by a local, and well worth the visit. Good menu, great food (there were 3 of us and we each ordered differently) and staff were lovely. You can sit inside or out and there are plenty of tables. Even the toilets were very clean!
