Stayed overnight with two friends in triple room. Both Jane and Derryck are lovely hosts and everything about the stay was excellent. The decor reflected the period splendour of the house and the rooms are really spacious with extremly comfortable beds, beautiful bed linen, large ensuite with white fluffy towels. Although the water pressure of shower wasn't great it was adequate and the only toiletries were two little bars of soap, this doesn't detract from the excellent rating. Tea, coffee, biscuits, bottles of still and sparkling water were available and Jane volunteered more milk without us asking for this demonstrating their keeness to be as accomodating as they were. Although check in wasn't till 4.00pm there was no problem leaving our bags in the room and we were given keys for room and front door to come and go as we pleased. Were able to choose breakfast time and the breakfast was great. Hot and nicely cooked bacon, sausage, mushrooms, fresh tomatoes, beans, as well as choice of cereal, juice, toast etc and refills of tea, coffee as required. The location of the villa is very accessible for visitors, turn right on exiting train station and is only a five minute walk on left side of road. Longer walk into town centre, probably takes about 15- 20 minutes.Fully recommended and we will definately be back.
