“Great Experience!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 August 2014

I took my 2 sons aged 12 and 10 to a archery have a go session. It was fantastic! It was very informative and fun. My sons and I really enjoyed the whole experience and Daniel was very helpful and gave great instructions as we are all beginners.

The school is really easy to find and Daniel sends a map through which is easy to follow. I would recommend the school to anyone who wants to just have a go or for more instruction on archery. They now want to try the rifle shooting.

“Great taster session”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 June 2014 via mobile

We went for the Saturday £25 taster session and were surprised how much we learnt, how much fun it was and that we got to see different types of "scenarios" (not sure what official shooting language is). Am considering to go for proper lessons... If it wasn't such a dear sport!

“Have A Go Shooting Day”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 April 2014

We went along for a family afternoon out together. It is not easy to find entertainment for two parents in their fifties and two children in their twenties but this afternoon was a real treat for everybody.
We were given excellent tuition by a delightful man called Fred as he took around the woods to different places to shoot the clay targets. Fred clearly explained all the aspects of safety that we would need. We were given target cards which was fun because it made a bit of a competition of the day! The equipment was first class and the shooting proceeded very smoothly
Prescott Shooting School is in a beautiful setting and has a very good shop where you can buy exceptionally nice tweed clothing.

“Excellent Simulated Game in Cotswolds”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 October 2013

Shooting ground is set in a small wooded valley which lends itself to the various layouts, including a very high tower.
Dan also runs brilliant Simulated Game Days not far from the ground, set out near Cleeve Hill, using 6 manually opperated traps ensured that it truly was just like the game they were simulating - partridge, pheasant, grouse & high pheasant in the different locations. The food & drink supplied, just like a game day is outstanding and make for a fantastic day shooting at nearly 5,000 clays! Hot barrells & tired arms ... big smiles all round!
They also do a brilliant 'Introduction to game' 2 day course, which I have enjoyed too .. 1st day is at the ground, the 2nd day was in the game field ... we learnt to beat and went with the people working their dogs to pick up as well as being able to shoot 2 drives ... such a thrill!

“Have A Go session”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 April 2013

I did the 'Have A Go session' over the Easter holidays.
The drive to the School was abit of an adventure in itself (lots of snow still on the ground!) and driving down farmers fields past cow sheds :)
Reception lady was super friendly and helpful with regards to places to visit around the area.
The instructors for both the archery and clay pigeon shooting were friendly and made the session fun - even tho I was rubbish at the shooting.
Small groups (2 for archery and 6 for shooting)
