We have just stayed here in what is probably their busiest week of the year for Cheltenham Gold Cup day - yet despite it being busy, their service was as excellent as always.

Our room was lovely, (although a bit noisy next to the lift) we loved the feather pillows, top quality linen and duvets, large bed and taste full decor.
The breakfast was superb, the location perfect.

We will be back.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the 1st floor, away from the lift.

This is a really lovely hotel in a good location. The hotel is beautifully furnished and the rooms are modern but warm and homely. The hotel is really cute and pleasant and the lady on reception was really lovely. The breakfast was lovely; they do a really good full English! It was also really nice that they have an honesty bar in the lounge room, which was really cosy with a fire, and very nice just to relax and have a drink! We had a really lovely time here!

Very good hotel, bar taken on trust (how many can say that nowadays?) Cheltenham's glory days were long ago, this hotel is a diamond amongst the rest and is a good base for exploration of the Cotswolds. The hotel shows what Cheltenham could be, if it chooses. The surrounding area is the reason why you should go here. Rooms contemporary, clean and quiet. Full English for breakfast, should last a man all day, trust me...

Booked a luxury room and were not disappointed. Clean, spacious and well decorated room with a very large ensuite bathroom.
Shower was difficult to get to the right temperature and bath looked good but uncomfortable to sit in. Lack of drawer space in room 12 was an issue, especially if staying for more than a couple of nights.
Staff were lovely and extremely helpful. Breakfast was excellent if a little uninspiring.
Excellent location in a quiet tree lined avenue, yet close to town centre.
Would definitely come again.

Great place, ideally situated for exploring the Cotswolds and for walking into Cheltenham at night to eat.
Beautifully decorated hotel and very comfortable rooms, bathroom a little on the small side but who lives in there anyway. Great breakfast, good cooked and plenty of fruit and cereals. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac just off the town centre, plenty of parking and easy access to town and driving out to explore the surrounding area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend the hotel.

Room Tip: On a vey quiet street so no real road or passing traffic noise.

Stayed at the Cheltenham Townhouse for one night on a Saturday while visiting friends in the town. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the Montpelier area, in a very pleasant and quiet area north of the town centre. We had a lovely room on the top floor which was very large and quiet. Both the room and the common areas were very clean and nicely furnished.

The breakfast was very tasty, with a relatively wide choice. The staff are also all extremely friendly.

Overall a very good value hotel for a few nights if vising Cheltenham, would happily stay again.

Room Tip: We had room 21 which is on the very top floor, with a private staircase up from the main landing. I...
