My mum booked this for a group of family and friends to celebrate her birthday. It was perfect. My twin room was very spacious and comfortable. The whole place is simply and beautifully decorated, in a boutique hotel style. The guest lounge was a great bonus, with an honesty bar for a pre-dinner drink or a nightcap. Just a few minutes stroll from the town centre, the location was ideal. The breakfast was also worth getting up for, a quality full English breakfast to set you up for the day. Well done to the Cheltenham Townhouse, you offer good value for money.

We stayed here for the weekend and booked the superior room. We had the room at the very top. It was beautiful. Lots of light pouring into the room and it was very spacious. The bathroom however needed updating but also very clean, still pleasant.

Staff were fantastic. Very attentive.

Breakfast was lovely. A good selection of foods and the eggs were just perfect.

Very enjoyable stay. Would come and stay again and would recommend to others.

We stayed for 2 nights while attending the Cheltenham Wychwood Festival. Very impressed with standard of accommodation it was a contemporary guest house, whilst retaining the Regency grandeur of the building.

Central location.

Staff very excellent & very helpful.

Breakfast was very busy & I was unable to get into restaurant, but I was more than happy to have a coffee and orange juice in the bar area.

Not cheap but I would say fantastic value for money as they had all the attention to detail you would expect from a 4 star hotel.

What I had for breakfast is of no real interest to others so I won't bore you with the detail as it would be about as interesting as looking at somebody else's holiday snaps :) One word describes this hotel. Perfect. 'nuff said. Enjoy!

Just returned from a one night stay at the cheltenham townhouse and can honestly say it is one of the best hotels we've stayed in for the value for money!! We had a luxury room, the space and cleanliness was first rate and bed was very comfy! The breakfast was lovely and well presented. Although I did ask for poached eggs and they were hard but that has to be the only negative I could find about the whole stay!!! The location was fab, about a 3 minute walk to the high street but it is still in a quite area so not to be disturbed at night! The honesty bar is a good idea and prices are reasonable. All in all a very enjoyable stay and we would certainly be back again!!!!

I stayed for 2 nights in this hotel with some friends and I would highly recommend it. We had a room on the first floor which was very light and airy, and a room in the lower ground which was a bit dark - I would recommend the more expensive first floor room.
Both rooms were stylishly decorated and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and there is a lovely lounge with an honesty bar, fresh free fruit and DVDs and books you can borrow. The hotel had a really relaxed and comfortable feel with friendly staff. It's only a short walk to town with it's wealth of shops and bars/restaurants. We ate in Brasserie Blanc on one of the evenings which had a good menu and great atmosphere.
A gem of a hotel and I don't think their website does it justice!

Room Tip: Lower ground floor rooms were a bit dark.

Jayne & Adam have created an elegant and contemporary guest house, whilst retaining the Regency grandeur of the building. No B&B Chintz here. Rooms are stylishly decorated and very comfortable.
Breakfast was delicious, not a trace of grease and the poached eggs were perfect every time.
Proper table linens too.
The guest lounge is inviting and comfortable with a well stocked honesty bar.
Every member of the team was friendly, welcoming and eager to help.
The Townhouse is THE place to stay in Cheltenham.
