As a regular visitor to Cheltenham I have had many delightful visits to Butlers including my most recent trip for for the new year. Guy and Robert, the hosts, are both full of knowledge and recommendations for Cheltenham and cannot do enough for you. They are also fantastic people to have a laugh with if you've got time for a coffee.
The location is a short walk from the train station, bus station and shops with a bus stop at the end of the road if you are looking for the racecourse. If you are looking for a restaurant in the evening there is something for everyone on the promenade only a few minutes away (just ask for recommendations at the reception. They know everything!)
Lastly, even if you aren't much of an early riser, make the effort to head down to breakfast. You won't miss the duvet and pillows the second you get a sniff of what's on the menu! Make sure to try the Full English at least once during your visit. I'm already looking forward to it upon my next visit!More
