“Very comfortable hotel in centre of Cheltenham”

Luxurious hotel well positioned in the centre of Cheltenham. With a excellent cocktail bar and bistro and very good service. The bedroom has an excellent bed and the en suite is full of little extras and a powerful shower.

called in for an adhoc table - restaurant was quiet, managaress was surly, coffee came eventually no milk, asked for a jug of milk ended up getting a glass off the table, Poor continental choice, will go round the corner to the chapter nex time . Under staffed, if you told me hotel was closing tonight that would explain awful service., Said Hello to older reception man when walked in and he ignored me ! Lousy.

I've stayed at a lot of Hotel du Vins and they are generally of a very high quality. This is a nicely located hotel, really easy to find from the M5, and the premises are very smart. My room was lovely with a roll top bath in the room so you can sit in it and watch the tv! The bed was really comfortable and all in all the room was somewhere you would want to be. A couple of small niggles - the tv was very small for such a large room - I think in the 21st century we are used to large tvs, the room needed an armchair - somewhere comfortable to sit.

The restaurant was very good. It's a nice room with a good atmosphere and the food was top class with plenty of choice on the menu. I had a nice bottle of wine. The service was excellent, friendly and efficient. Just one small niggle - the wine list is rather top heavy with too many choices in the £ hundreds range and not enough in the £ tens range.

This is a luxury hotel so it's not cheap. However it's pretty good value for what it is.

What a lovely hotel. We stayed in the Graham Beck room, which was very nice, a roll top bath in the room! Cleanliness was very good, comfortable bed. A well stocked mini bar and tea and coffee facilities. A very short walk into Cheltenham, love the shops. We spent some time in the bar, the staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was lovely. Again the staff were lovely and very attentive. It was a bit expensive but there is a saying you get what you pay for and it was worth every penny. Breakfast was very nice, lovely fresh orange juice. We are already planning our next trip to hotel Du Vin Cheltenham. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We booked this hotel in a stop from Devon to Cheshire. What a fantastic choice. It was easy to find, check in tool an amazing 1 minute flat, the room Concha y Toro was spacious with everything you could want; from a roll top bath, to rain drench seperate shower, mega fluidly tieless comfortable bed, Nespresso machine, carefully selected furnishings and a mini bar! All at an amazingly affordable price! Move this hotel to London and it would give the Athenaeum a good run for its money at a quarter of the price. Excellent hotel! Well done guys for understanding the needs of the many!

I stayed here with a larger family group. We booked 4 rooms, 3 doubles & a twin. We booked the executive rooms and got an upgrade for the twin room.

Firstly, parking. There isn't much onsite parking, there's a few spaces at the back of the hotel. We checked about parking & were told we could use an office building's spaces opposite the hotel, although not sure if that's weekends only - & the car has to be moved by 8am on the Monday morning.

All the rooms were large and very well decorated. The twin & 1 of the double rooms had roll-top baths in the room, not in the well appointed & massive bathroom, actually in the room. Some might say its a little strange, I thought it was a luxury! The showers were monsoon type & big! The products in the rooms were great too.

Rooms have a mini bar, expensive as you'd expect. I wouldn't bother with any of it. The Nespresso machine in the room was nice & my husband was pleased to see real milk in the fridge for use in his tea.

The hotel is a short, pleasent walk from the town centre, so a good location. We were celebrating a birthday & eating at the hotel so our overnight stay didn't allow us to explore much further.

We thought the hotel offered fantastic value for money as we booked a special: spend at least £75 (per room) in the hotel bistro & get each room for £25. So, for the cost of a normal hotel room we were able to splurge in the resturant.

The food was good, although they'd run out of 2 menu items & we were dining early, a 6.30 sitting. The service was a little patchy, great at times then absent god a while but no real complaints. We sat in a nook off the bar after dinner which was a lovely, relaxing space. I noticed a door to the 'cigar terrace', fancy name for smoking area I expect but as I don't smoke I didn't check it out.

I'd go back yo this hotel again & recommend. It had a classical feel; no gym, pools etc (did have spa but didn't get to use) but it was luxurious and relaxing.

My Mum and I stayed here for a shopping weekend last November. We were moved from our booked accommodation at the last minute and we have to say taht this hotel was lovely. The rooms were beautiful, if a little small , and the service in the bar was excellent in the evening. Breakfast was a real let down. the service was very slow and thoroughly unattentive. Certainly not worth paying for.

Room Tip: Basement rooms were very quiet but a little small.
