“Hubby climbed to the top of the tower”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 August 2014

What a lovely little church! We visited on one of the rare occasions when the tower is open to climb. Hubby went up and said it was fantastic at the top. I meandered on terra firma around the church. I especially liked the cup that belonged to Anne Boleyn!

“A wonderful church spoilt by the external stone treatment”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 July 2014

What has been done to the external stonework of the 'old' Town Hall part of this church facing the market place? A wonderful church well worth a visit with so much history, but now glowing yellow externally

“Fantastic Church”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 July 2014 via mobile

One of the best mediaeval buildings I've been to in a while. The highly cleaned porch does somewhat spoil the old feeling of the building, however the rest of the building does not disappoint. There are some excellent brasses and original wall paintings within, as well as surviving stained glass.

I should also mention the staff, who are incredibly passionate and enthusiastic, and will greet you on entry, as well as answer and questions you have about the building.

A real sense of history.
