Room was clean and bright and airy .Unfortunately this was marred by the fact that the beds were not as ordered and there was no alternative room available. A disabled room was required with twin beds , what was provided was a double bed and a Zbed ( only suitable for a child )which collapsed on being sat on (only had legs likened to a sun bed) Alarm bell too near light switch so set off in error(no clear instructions how to turn off or reset) 10 mins before anyone came to check alarm and show how to switch off and this was 3-20 am in the morning. The rails around bath were unstable and bath floor and bathroom floor were slippery.Toilet was on minimum flush and previous tenants body waste still in toilet bowl for both days of stay- toilet flush totally inadequate and a health hazard.
The power points were unsuitable for using an electric breathing machine as cord had to be stretched across floor between the beds and was a hazard when getting up in the night for the bathroom.Sadly this was not in my opinion suitable acomodation for a disabled couple as was requested when booking on line.
The good points were breakfast delivered to room on time and nice and fresh.
All the food at the Little chef opposite was excellent with friendly evening service.More
