A typical club site with excellent toilet block; helpful reception. The site is broken up with trees and hedges so gives a pleasant overall picture. There is a good area for dogs on site and very good walking from adjacent to the main gate, A very good centre for visiting the area.

We stayed here for the end of May Bank Holiday weekend. The site was fully booked as you would expect over this period leading into the half term break. We arrived about 12.30pm on the Saturday & after checking in set off to find a pitch. We were surprised at the condition of the hardstanding pitches. To be honest they looked like they good do with some work & had an air of neglect about them with a lot of weeds present and maybe some fresh stone required to bring them back up to standard. The grass was also quite long throughout the site and would have benefitted from being cut, especially as it rained quite heavily during the weekend and also there were a lot of children present. No complaints about the facilities which were the usual good quality with plenty of showers and hot water. One comment though, unlike other caravan and motorhome club sites, the wardens weren't too knowledgeable about the local area or whether the cycleways were good going into Cirencester itself. This was a shame, as if you're not from the area at all, we've usually found that the wardens local knowledge can be a godsend. Perhaps it may be worth them brushing up on it. We would have given the site a 4, but felt the wardens inability to provide some basic local information made it more a 3. Despite this we will come back as it's a nice site close to Cirencester.

A pleasant site within walking distance to the town centre with some pleasant walks around Cirencester Park. Facilities up to the usual C&MC standards. Extremely well-maintained site with pitches laid out well amongst the trees. Recommended.

This is a lovely friendly site and a great location. The toilets and showers are roomy, modern and not a spec of dust/dirt to be found.
This was a great location for cyclists, there are lots of quiet country lanes that start from the doorstep of the campsite.
We will definitely re-visit again soon.

This site has to be one of the best in the circuit. Facilities are top-notch. Pitches are spacious and interestingly arranged (not in straight rows!) Primroses, bluebells and other wild flowers grow among the trees. Staff are friendly and helpful, papers can be ordered and a fish and chip van calls. It is in within easy walking distance of Cirencester town and the many interesting shops and restaurants. It is especially lovely to walk into town in the day when you can walk through Cirencester park (it closes it's gates at around 5pm)

Room tip: Choose a pitch away from the side near to the college as it is more noisy there during the day.
