Just about the nicest coffee we have had in some time. The café is well worth visiting when next in Cirencester. It offers "fair trade coffee" and locally sourced ingredients in the cakes and sandwiches, as they say "fresh is best".

This is a pleasant rustic coffee/tea shop that is run by a nice youngish couple. The lady bakes the scones etc. and her husband (who seemed to be the ‘front of house’) proved to be very knowledgeable and informative about their loose leaf tea and the whole range of drinks and light bites on offer from the black boards behind the counter. Their wide range of hot and cold snacks include, fresh scones, cakes, bacon rolls, Panini with fillings etc.

We chanced by yesterday (Saturday mid-day) and found the service to be very good and genuinely warm and inviting. There’s no standing about waiting for your order, they invite you to take a seat and deliver it to your table. It was a shame for them however that they had a little rush on and lost some potential customers because it suddenly got busy and they failed to notice a couple waiting who eventually gave up and left. Anyway, we were there for a cuppa and a light bite and in our case, we enjoyed a pot of tea each with a home baked scone that was served up nicely warmed and tasted very nice. The scones automatically came with a knob of butter but I asked for some jam too that arrived in an individual jam jar. I think we paid about £7.70 in total for both of us, which we found to be very reasonable, especially for an upmarket town like Cirencester where most things are on the dear side.

The coffee shop would have scored a full five stars but for two points. I know this is a minor (petty) one, but I could have been offered a ‘choice’ of jam, in fairness however, I also didn’t ask, or specify one to them. The only other negative feature was the sink area where they washed their hands; it’s at the far end of the counter area, adjacent to the dishwasher and both situated in prominent view of customers. It only needs a very small stud wall or screen to hide them out of sight and improve the overall aesthetics of the place.

We’d certainly recommend the place and will be sure to go back when we’re shopping in Cirencester next time.

We stopped here after reading so many rave reviews on Trip Advisor.
I have to agree, the service was friendly and pleasant and the coffee was one of the best I've ever had.
Odd location for such a great coffee shop as the shopping centre ambiance (or lack of it) does it no favours.
We visited at approx 5 pm so was a lovely surprise to be greeted and treated like we were the first through their door that day.
Would highly recommend.

This is a tea and coffee drinker's café par excellence. A little bit hidden away down Bishops Walk between Cricklade Street and the Brewery car park, it has a few tables 'outside' but still within the covered arcade. Inside there are about two dozen seats.
The husband and wife team provide a range of coffees and are happy to give advice on their provenance and taste plus they offer a range of loose-leaf teas complete with infusing timer. The coffees include a 'guest' coffee which they buy in at a kilogram a time so it changes frequently.
There are also several other drinks on offer and a range of foods including soups, ciabatta and cakes. The majority of their offering is sourced locally.
As the food and drink range changes quite often it is listed on several blackboards.
Well worth the visit for a real coffee or tea and 'a break from the chains'. Open seven days a week but not in the evenings.

Visited on Sunday afternoon and the place was nearly full. Absolutely first class coffees, teas, homemade snacks. Super, friendly, knowledgeable service from the owners. You couldn't ask for more in a coffee shop. Other than perhaps it being in a slightly more "fitting" setting than inside this average arcade ... I trust that as they are obviously so busy and successful, they will be moving on to bigger and better premises. These guys deserve to do really well!
