We have just returned from a 4 night stay. We had two beautiful courtyard rooms - adjoining - which made a great family suite. The spotlessly clean contemporary accommodation was of a high standard with luxurious towels and bedding. The small fridges and wifi in the rooms were a bonus.
The breakfast was made with high quality produce, freshly cooked and served to you, at the table.
Rose (the landlady!) is the perfect host, her wealth of local knowledge and visitor information makes this a very friendly and welcoming B and B.

Courtyard room quiet, spotlessly clean, with high quality fixtures in bathroom, including heated towel bar. Toiletries a classy touch. Towels and linens luxurious. Little fridge in room. Delicious full English breakfast, cooked to order, with very fresh fruit - the best breakfast in our 2 week stay in England! Rose is a wealth of info about local attractions and directions, and very friendly. Beautiful courtyard with gardens. Would definitely return!

We spent two week nights in the top floor of the main building, in what would have been the loft of the 17th century Brew House from which the B&B is named. Our room was well apppointed with a couch, flat screen TV and a separate tiny ensuite from which we had a small rooftop deck complete with chairs, table and market umbrella. There was also a heavy beam relatively low across the foot of the bed, but we felt it added to the charm of the room and were careful negotiating our way around it. The weather was warm enough on both nights that we slept with the main window and deck door both wide open. Traffic noise was not a major problem (Cirencester is not a big place), but the noise of the pedestrian crossing buzzer below was a little irritating in the early morning. Breakfasts were well done, the room servicing was excellent - and given the premium on parking in the central Cirencester area, the close walking distance was a real plus - as was free wifi. We intend to stay here on our return and have recommended it to friends.

We had booked this location for 5 nights based on the pictures advertised....we did not realize that it was located on one of the busiest corners in Cirencester so we could not open the windows for fresh air....and the picture advertising the room did not show the major beam above the foot of the bed which was a significant and potentially dangerous obstacle for both of us.....the breakfast was very good and the service staff was excellent but the owner had an indifferent attitude when the shortcomings were brought to her attention, made no effort for alternate arrangements, questioned the honesty of our booking and initial deposit when we complained in spite of the fact she had expected our arrival (had to produce our own printout of the booking) and was generally unfriendly and unapproachable....the only such experience in the 5 B&B's that we booked on this trip....

Spent 5 nights in this very well-appointed B&B in Cirencester. We had two fabulous rooms in the courtyard (newer) section. The main building is very interesting. Breakfasts were the best we've had in England. Very nice courtyard to sit in. I would definitely use this B&B again. I thought the value for money was outstanding.

The landlord was extremely helpful with travel information and directions.

Cirencester itself is both a very interesting city (impressive, historical church; major Roman museum; huge parks; interesting shopping; big enough for many good restaurants) AND well-situated for the Cotswolds.

Location was great, only a 2 min walk to town. Room was very modern, clean and bright. Flat Screen TV and Tea/Coffee making facilites. Breakfast was just right. Rose is an excellent host. Garden is very picturesque. Only complaint was the noise of a barking dog most of the night. Very annoying.
